Fanciful Food
Hello! I'm Citrus. You can also call me Simon. I'm an esper, and my power is olfactory and gustatory illusions, accompanied by minor tactile illusions. What that means is that I can make you feel like you're eating any food you want!
Testimonials
The thing I like about buffets is the variety. You can have a little bit of this and a little bit of that, as you please. But buffets are still limited in their selection. With Citrus, I can have the ideal buffet experience. He can make me feel like I'm eating duck confit, then instantly and seamlessly transition to longan tong sui, then fried frog legs. By the end of the tasting session, I've had twenty five dishes from twelve cuisines around the world. I don't think there's any place you could go that could give you that, not at this price.

I have phenylketonuria and this means I have to avoid eating phenylalanine, which is in many types of food. I can't eat meat, fish, eggs, legumes, dairy products, aspartame...lots of things. But since Citrus's illusions aren't physical, I'm able to taste these. I love ice cream with bacon bits in it!

I decided to become a vegan for ethical reasons at 23, and I've been one for more than a decade. Vegan food options have really improved over the years, but there's this one beef stew I remember having in Spain that I loved which I just could never replicate on my own with vegan substitutes. Citrus was able to recreate it for me with surprising accuracy after I told him about it. I'm so happy that I'm able to enjoy it again.

When my daughter Camellia learned about the Milky Way, she said she really wanted to drink 'galaxy milk'. She was very adamant, even after we told her that that wasn't a thing. It was my friend who gifted our family a tasting session by Citrus, as a birthday gift to her. When she requested 'galaxy milk' from Citrus, he created this illusion food of raspberry milkshake, but which felt like it had pop-rocks in it. Camellia loved it and was absolutely delighted.

My food illusions are not real and will not fill you up or provide nutrition. You should eat beforehand.
You can request multiple foods in the same tasting session. However, it's easier for me and will help me work faster if you tell me the sorts of food that you want to taste beforehand — you are of course free to change your mind during the session itself.
For tasting sessions with multiple people, I can only give the same illusion to all of you. So, if you are coming as a group, you should decide beforehand what you want me to give you.
I can make you taste food that doesn't exist! Some clients have come to me wanting to recreate foods in fictional media. You should describe it to me and I'll try my best to conjure it for you.
I try my best to sample high quality foods and ingredients from around the world, but I can't get to everything. I can create illusions based on what I think something would taste like, but I can only give you realism if I've tasted it at least once before. If you want something I haven't tried yet, I recommend you arrange for me to do so first. Please contact my agent if you want to do something like this: citrus@greatpacificespers.com
