Yes. Yes, exactly. 

That is more than enough panic for today, or in fact for this lifetime. She pulls herself together. 

Maybe it's all true. She thought she might have been made to have Force-sensitive children one day and didn't completely hate the idea but tried not to think about it. Maybe it's not. She can think of it as like spying, not getting attached to any one possible story, letting people damn themselves.

You know, if she's going to betray her master, turn on the Empire and all its works, and apparently marry Skywalker for some reason, she's going to feel unbelievable guilt about those people and her whole life none of that is going to help. 

"Point. I'm not going to do anything stupid. We can carry on if you're fit to."

"I don't even need to use the Force to sense the conflict in you. You don't need to suffer at all. You can let go of your hate now, and save yourself all the pain."

"Does this ever actually work?"

"Yes."

"The city isn't far from here. We might just dodge the Imperials if we double around, and then we have options. Let's go."

"Yes, also Master Skywalker is right. Which isn't surprising from his name."

"Ok, I'm ready to move. Also, might need to wait till later, but we should talk theology at some point. I'm interested in a Jedi perspective on my Order, and think Chuk may need a bit more catechism."

We're not not a bird cult, but I think she may be getting some wrong ideas.

He's interrupted in saying he'd be happy to hear about her Order by the unmistakeable sound of Imperial speeder bikes. 

"All right, we've maybe got a minute. Hide, bluff, or fight. Talking our way out of this isn't going to be easy - no scanners in the forest but we stick out too much... "

Hmm, I do have stealth powers, but covering four people with minimum prep work and any ethics is hard.

*Already getting out the rope while she speaks. Someone else with her very specific skill set might draw conclusions from its length and Chuk Tan's size.*
"Is it remotely plausible that speeder bikes would be used for deliveries?
If so we can get a Mythos bullshit advantage in ambushing them. If not I have rope if we set up a quick trap."

"Are you going to kill them?"

"It's not normal but I suppose sometimes they are."

"We'll try to take them alive. Chuk left tree clump with me, Mara right. Luke bait. In the open, that little clearing. Chuk can heal almost anything non-fatal. Luke, say 'lost' and we'll jump em.

He can be bait. Can he have the lightsaber back in case they open fire?

Can he usee the Force at all, here, if it comes to it? He definitely felt something when Violet arrived. The idea of a total absence in the Force... it shouldn't be possible even theoretically, and he suspects it isn't. 

But he decided to go along with this and he'll stick to it. 

He can be bait. 

It's two scout troopers on bikes, and they are going to try to swoop in and arrest him. 

...Is that Luke Skywalker. The face looks right and they've seen the holos but...

...Is this one of those missions where they come back in several pieces. 

They hesitate. 

Peacemaker is ready, I'm taking a gamble on these mooks lives, but I think their armor plus Chuk will make it non fatal.

I also think it will still be enough impact to incapacitate. If not I can invoke my uncle. I'm really trying to not torure more spirits, but sure we have rules of engagement.

Now when will he say 'lost'?

After they slow down enough, of course.

"Boy, am I glad to see you," he says, "it's easy to get lost in these forests."

Not nearly as close up as I like, but up into the back of the head is a very familiar shot. And its not like I have no experience shooting resisting targets.

All right, Violet is a physical threat and does have some kind of power.

Not that that's terrifying, or anything, in that it means she's maybe telling the truth. 

She gets a fucking grip.

"All right. We maybe get a few minutes before they get suspicious and come looking, nice work, but I still don't love our chances here. Solo's not making an appearance on a white horse either. If we make the city we can dodge stormtrooper patrols for a little, maybe, and we'll be back in contact. Violet, if we get into a ship is that enough for Mythos power to keep us alive? Enough to kill Thrawn?"

"I'm pretty sure Thrawn and Han are both on planet. If you make if off planet you're probably clear, but more importantly do they have suit radios or anything like that we need to disable?"

Not normally any that work when the user is unconscious or dead, but her knowledge is specific and out of date and she's going to disable the suit electronics anyway.
