Molten Obsidian:
A series of stories set in Pokemon Obsidian. This is a variation on the classic pokemon setting with the premise that pokemon were human genetic experiments that failed badly and escaped, akin to African Killer bees. Pokemon are extremely dangerous and hostile to humans.

The pokemon journey, here called the Pilgrimage, is a version of population control that also creates a source for trained pokemon.

The story largely follows Team Phoenix and their attempt to destroy the pokemon threat.
