Henry describes the various green spells. Most are various levels of healing, from very trivial or specific healings to stronger ones, various things that protect against damage of various types, Gabe's spell that improves strength and similar "buffs". The most dangerous among those is called (amusingly) "fire ball", but it is the opposite of a fire-based explosion, instead is a very controlled sphere of flame that can be both used to set things on fire and snuff fires outs. Henry put it in green because is a pretty useful extinguisher and source of heat.

Scott thinks there should probably be better categories, but he doesn't comment on that.

"I have a limited kind of healing, but nothing this broad. You said you're willing to share these?"

"Yes... If you want to sneak in hospitals and heal people you have my blessings," Henry says waving at his blessing spells.

"I'll work something out with my mom. I can talk her into trying healing magic, and her job gives her access. We were really lucky I ran into you."

"I can't disagree. Do you think she would know anyone else in the area that is trustworthy?

"Maybe the sheriff, but he's basically family. Ask Lydia, when you get the chance. She might suggest people I haven't thought of."

"I will. Do you want spellcasting now?"

"Yeah, I really would. Thank you for doing this. I think any world could use more healing magic."

"SEED SPELL-WORD!" Henry casts.

Just like Lydia, there is a brief sense of something just in the tip of his tongue. An unspoken word... and then it is gone.

Henry hands him one of the simpler spell books and says. "Here this one shouldn't take long to memorize."

Not when you're this determined, no.

He wants to heal people.

And the feeling of "something in the tip of tongue" coalescence into something else... a word, but not a mere string of sounds and letter. A meaning of power, that settles into a new part of his mind and that almost sings that promises a reversal of harm, the undoing of danger and the protection of life.

If Scott cares to - he doesn't have to - he can say his spell "Healing Touch."

Well, of course he wants to use it!

"Healing Touch," he says, reaching tentatively for Henry.

Scott can feel the healing magic sweeping across gentle through Henry body, he can even tell a point where it heals a small scratch then the effect is over.

Henry frowns.

"Okay... that wasn't impossible, since it actually happened. But the chance of it happening is so small that was supposed to be astronomical."

"That said. Congratulations. You are a healer!"

"Thanks. Sorry I, uh, did it wrong, I guess. Can't say I'm not glad to have something like this with me, though. It should be a big help."

"What you did wrong? And yes it will be a big help."

"Well, I obviously did the spell book thing wrong, right? You weren't expecting that."

"Oh, well. I guess that is a certain value of wrong. Anyway, do you mind casting it again? I want to look at it under my halo?"

Henry pulls the light of his halo out to take a better understanding of Scott's magic.

Scott is very excited to cast this spell.

"Healing Touch," this time trying himself.

And Henry observes.

"Nice all purpose healing," Henry says approvingly.

"Yeah. I'm glad you came when you did. Who knows what could happen."

"Why? Is there something going on?"

"Not now. We're between somethings right now. There were these scientists, who were experimenting with supernatural creatures- it was kind of messy."

"Oh, right. I think you mentioned them as the ones that had technology that induced hallucinations?"

"Things got bad. We fixed them. Some people didn't make it."
