She halfway falls over again, goes somewhat breathless for a bit.

This is about the most exciting day she's ever had, and she is very much up to it!
Handily if something goes wrong she just gets shot again! She makes a shield.
They should probably do this several times with different strengths of shields and different amount of shooting and stuff.

...Can she make the shield around not-her? That would make testing-to-destruction a lot safer.
Stronger shields block harder blasts. She needs to restrengthen shields after they take hits. If she doesn't do that and they keep taking hits they'll break sooner. Putting more power into a shield to begin with is more effective than restrengthening. (She has more power available, that usual ocean at rest. She's not changing that, at the moment. But she has plenty as it is).

If the shield is weak, the Pod can ramp up faster than she can restrengthen it. But a full-power shield can stand up to a full-power Pod.
This is very good data to have!
