"Don't you know that people only exist inside his bubble? You'll be fine. I won't mention you. And even if you suddenly existed to him... like I said, he likes me. He won't bother you."

"Well, if you say so."

"I say so. But you are free to go back to your book. Your company is nice, but I can do this on my own if you'd prefer not to risk it."

"You live life on the edge, truly."

And finally, they arrive. She stops just before it and takes out her camera again.

She takes a few more pictures before letting her camera hang around her neck and taking an old looking key out of her pocket.

"The anticipation rises and --"

She unlocks the gate and pauses for a moment, waiting for something. When nothing happens she laughs.

"No explosions. Excellent."

"Oh good. I like it when things don't explode. It's my favourite way for things to be, not exploding."

"I don't know. Explosions can be fun. From very far away. Exciting even. Fireworks count, don't they?"

She opens the door and takes a look inside. It's empty of people, but dark and very dusty. Appropriately Gothic.

"I suppose. Fireworks can have an exception, then."

"The best exception." She pokes around a little and heads to the center of the room to a large sarcophagus. "This must be him then."

She takes a photo, bending down a little to get a nice angle.

"'Him'?"
