"Yep." Bella picks up a phone.

Finleran, we're - he sends the surroundings - collecting everybody to go give magic. Can you join us?

He does. He sees Matirin and leaps forwards and past him, and then circles back around; their tails twine. 

Awwwwwwwwwww. "Hi Andi! Is this an okay time?"

(Elf ears will be able to hear: "Yeah, as of five minutes ago, what's up?")

"Things got weirder again!"

"Like, how weirder?"

"Like way weirder, but good weirder. Where should I meet you so you can receive magical powers?"

"Whoa, seriously?"

"Seriously!"

"Uh, I was about to see if the continental breakfast was made of food or just overdone bacon and sad apples, but I can go back up to my room?"

"Cool. Send me a picture of the room."

"Will do one sec -" Pause. "Here you go."

"Be there in a jiffy! Put up the do not disturb sign!"

Bella finds the picture of the hotel room and displays it.

He takes him and Kib and Bella; the Andalites would take up a lot of space and can Andalite for a minute anyway.

"Great!" Pop back to pick up Matirin and Finleran. "So dimensions are adjacent to other dimensions, and Vanda Nossëo's a few hops from here - they'll be fast hops, but some people find it a little disconcerting."

"Actually, no, I live on Shine, which is another Elf planet. There are five Earths and even more versions of my home world. This is the headquarters of a sort of interdimensional government of which Shine is a member world. One of the things they do is collect and mass-produce useful magic things and sell them for absurd amounts of money; if you need anything magic or anything money can buy you can come here and take it - they've got a running list somewhere of what else the money's doing, so you can assess whether you should do that, but Elves are really prosocial and so anyone can."

He opens a door and ushers them into a building. "Eidetic memory necklace - you need it to learn our spells - unless all of you want the indelible version, instances of me get it because of paranoia but it takes ten times as long - might be worth it if it turns out necklaces don't morph with you - these give you Elven eyesight, try them on, they're very popular - I should have someone whip up a ring that glows in the presence of Yeerks, and in the presence of someone morphed, those should both be straightforward - we have rings for balance and stamina and energy and concentration and so on though Bella you'll want to fix your clumsiness with Loki's grace spell if you haven't already - these necklaces give you boundless working memory, they were mainly for the Hex crowd - and an Allspeak wand, boop boop now you can understand any language, here's the user manual."

"I booped her with the grace spell already."

"...wow holy shit, stuff. I could probably morph the necklaces if they were snugger? Do they come in choker?"

"We don't have one like that here but I can get you one, it'd work just fine in principle. Gem, can you turn this necklace into a choker without messing with its native magic?"
