"Lunch is wrapping up."

And off they scatter for now.

The day passes with nothing catching on fire, and then it's time for Nausicaa to get into costume and scout out Sunnydale Memorial Park.

Okay so she's still not here for the 'killing people' thing but she is jazzed about getting to fight crime dressed up as Spiderman.

Here she is, scouting, telling anyone who asks that she lost a bet!

Once she's inside the actual graveyard she doesn't get a lot of questions.  There's basically no one around.

The catacomb is, per catacombs, dark and gloomy.

She'll look around, then. Here vampires vampires vampires...

They see each other simultaneously; the vampire licks his lips and charges.

Wow these guys are kind of dumb.

Nausicaa bounces off a wall, wishes she could actually shoot web, and goes for a flying tackle.

These guys are kind of dumb; flying tackle straightforwardly succeeds, and now she has a vampire pinned.

" - Slayer?" he chokes.

"No, I'm your friendly neighborhood Spiderman," she says sarcastically.

"I'm a good vampire," he lies, transparently.  "I only drink from animals."

"I'm kind of curious, do I look like I was born yesterday?"

"I don't know, you've got a mask on."

"Look, wise guy. I don't believe you. I know you know I don't believe you. But I'll play nice. I'm looking for someone. A Vanessa, rumored to hang out around here."

He looks at her blankly.  "I'm the only vampire who lives down here."

"In the cemetery period? No one else comes by?"

He nods.  "This place is my territory, I've never heard of a Vanessa."

"Where would I find out about more vampires, then? Any hangouts?"

He nods.  "If you let me go I can lead you to them."

Close enough to honest.

She hops back, chirps, "Glad you see it my way!"

He climbs to his feet.  "There's a couple of clubs that cater to demons in this town.  Vampires usually hang out at a place called the Line and Sinker."

"Where's it at?"

"It's disguised as a warehouse - " he gives the address.  "It's kind of a private club, though - but I can get in, ask around, report back?" he suggests hopefully.

"And slip out the back. Or alert your buddies about me. No, the address is enough." Gaara's a grouch but a lot less suspicious than a human or slayer, for instance. "Thank you for your time!" And, leaning forward, voice still cheery: "Kill any humans, and I'll know!"

"What am I supposed to eat?"
