He draws out the upper level of the mausoleum, notes down two secret entrances on opposite sides of the building, then sketches a rough floorplan of the lair proper.  It's laid out in a sort of horseshoe shape, with one secret entrance at each of the two heels and a cluster of rooms around the toe.  There's a fancy entrance hall off each secret entrance, a library, a sitting room connected to a few soundproofed cells where Vanessa and company keep live humans to drink from, a throne room for Vanessa, and a bedroom per vampire of which Vanessa has the largest.

Ugh. Captives. They'll have to be careful to rescue those, though she's hoping they'll move fast enough Vanessa won't realize she has hostages... (She doesn't say this out loud.)

"Thanks."

"Got a phone?  I'm gonna skip town, you can call me when she's dead."

"Yeah. I can reach you if you give me a number."

He does.  "I'm leaving today, which means she'll know something's up soon by tomorrow.  Make your move soon."

"We will. Tomorrow night?" It's still the early hours of the night... Which means they could technically move on Vanessa immediately.

"At the latest, I'd say.  We usually report in before sunrise, you've got some time if you want to go for it today.  But I gotta pack.  Don't kill me while my back's turned."  He heads for his room.

"Won't."

She glances at Gaara, who nods. Nausicaa's feeling 'go for it,' though she suspects G-man might be hard to bring around...

"Any other advice?" she calls out.

He hesitates, then sticks his head out of the room.

"Not advice.  Don't do this if it would be stupid.  But if you get a chance to deliver a one-liner right before you dust her, I'd like her to know that I was the one who sold her out."

Seriously: "It's hard to plan a fight, but - yeah, I get you. I'll keep it in mind." She can smell 'history' there.

"Thanks," he says shortly, and returns to packing.

"Thank you. And we'll get out of your lair, now." She nods to Gaara, and heads out - ahead of her more threatening friend.

Giles will pick up his phone promptly, when called.  "Nausicaa?"

"Hey, we got pretty good info - but the surprise factor's gonna expire soon. Me and Gaara were thinking we should move tonight."

"It would be wise to take a few moments and check you're not more tired or hungry or stressed than you realize, but I wouldn't recommend moving too slowly either.  How are you feeling?"

"Kind of - not really hopped up on adrenaline, but I could get a rush easily? Wide awake, alert. Fight was pretty easy, though."

"Then I recommend you move tonight.  Do you need transportation or additional weapons?"

"Transportation and more weapons wouldn't hurt." She gives the location, and what they know of probable inhabitants - "But of course there could be more."

"I'll bring your crossbow."

He meets her a few blocks south of Galbraith's crypt.

"Thanks."

They're both there. Nausicaa seems tense.

He lets them in.

They briefly go over the plan of attack, but for the most part it's a quiet drive.

"Good luck," he says, softly, when they arrive.

"Thanks, G-man," Nausicaa says, just as softly.

And then they're approaching the mausoleum on foot.

It's grand and imposing, and silent.

It's safer to approach together, so they're starting with the entrance nearer the cells - better not to have the vampires be able to get hostages as easily - using the same trick of Gaara's with sensing-sand.

There's no one in the mausoleum proper, but if Gaara can manipulate her sand past the secret entrance, she'll perceive someone pacing back and forth on the other side.
