Shine. If these places have actual working stars, they might not, if those two don't Millennia's worth a try and Space Arda definitely has real stars.

Okay. Anything else before we get him in shape to freecast and he goes - does Amariah want to say goodbye in person or no -

She'd take a hug goodbye.

He can hug her goodbye. Sue sends the location.

There she is.

And there is Kas, and there is Petaal being a tiny chinchilla with soft downy wings and fluttering over to Path, and there is Kas hugging Amariah.

Very sad. Very hugs.

"I'm sorry - I can't - handle anything - I never wanted to hurt you," says Kas.

Sue says to Aegis, Can you get a prioritized list of Ardas from Loki? Harley's going to go scouting so Kas doesn't have to jump around looking for suns.

Telperion Shine Elentári Luster Shadow Millennia Space.

Telperion and Shine both work. Okay.

Sue bounces the results from Harley to Kas, and—

—they're gone.

Amariah looks into the space he occupied for a moment, then - teleports off somewhere.

...Millenia's Fingon also teleports off somewhere.

Sue hugs Aegis. Queenie hugs Helen.

War informs spectators, Anyone who has questions about what just happened can ask me, I won't mind.

It is unclear to me why someone would prefer eternal torment to death.

Well, death isn't on the table, he's torchable and that doesn't come off, says War. So the question is what if any experiences he wants to have until he eventually ends up having to walk around like a basically alive person again. No experiences at all would mean it'd feel like no time had passed and he'd still be in the middle of having an emotional breakdown. Vague dreamlike experiences would be both of the worst things in the world to a Joker - we handle loneliness and sensory deprivation really badly. The less vague the dreams, the likelier they'd end up just being more of this emotional breakdown he really doesn't want to be having. Flinging yourself into a star, on the other hand, is great for making sure you come out in a different mental state than you went in. And it's the exact opposite of sensory deprivation and it keeps you too busy to be lonely.

He's that confident that someone will against his wishes bring him back?

Forever is a long time. If nothing else, those stars are going to burn out eventually. And he's fine with being brought back if the Jokers ever figure out a way for him to be okay again. Which I'm sure we will. Jokers are always okay in the long run.

...okay. And this was - caused by the Elf opinion on reproductive coercion -

Less caused, more - set off? He wasn't okay, he hasn't been okay in sixty years, he was on track to keep right on being not okay for the forseeable future and eventually that was probably going to end in something like this one way or another, but overhearing some people having opinions about Helen is what ended up getting him there.

Is Helen okay?
