Man. He should have asked before he sat down! Now they're kind of committed!!!

It's kind of setting off my 'don't look at me' anxiety, and I don't feel like I'm close enough to either of them to have earned this spot, but it's also already too late, we've sat down ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Moving would probably be worse and draw more attention.

Sorry.

Noona and hyung really like you though.

There's still enough time that we could get up to go talk to someone for a bit and come back and sit somewhere else, we could architect that to look natural.

It's fine, I'll just deal.
Tabloids aren't allowed in here anyway, my instincts are calibrated wrong.

Okay.

I'm sorry, it didn't occur to me it would make you uncomfortable but it should've.

It'll be fine, they do really like you.

(She doesn't really see why they'd like her.)
Thanks. We know for next time I guess.

And she will just try her hardest to will away her discomfort. Go away, discomfort! Shoo! If she doesn't acknowledge you, you don't exist, except she did kind of acknowledge you but shut up you don't exist anyway!

(And even if anyone did notice, they wouldn't call attention to it. It doesn't take a genius to guess that attention is the last thing she wants right now.)

The ceremony starts shortly after that. There's a master of ceremonies, who asks everyone to take their seats, and then some music starts to announce that it's happening.

Juheon is the first to show up, and he walks down the aisle on his own, looking ready to burst out of his skin with anxiety, and like he's about ready to cry.

... aw.

Okay. It does help soothe her - whatever she's having - to just. See someone so obviously and blatantly and uncomplicatedly happy.

(Why does that make her heart ache?)

And then it's Hyun-jae's turn, led down the aisle by a man much shorter than she is, presumably her father.

Juheon's smile grows even bigger when he sees her, and while he doesn't break down crying, his cheeks are glistening a bit by the time Hyun-jae's joined him.

The ceremony is short and sweet. The officiant tells everyone the story of how they met, skipping over the part where Hyun-jae's prior partner had just died and also the part where they got together in a queer meetup. He talks about their families and friends, and about honouring their parents.

And then Juheon starts singing a song for Hyun-jae.

....ohhhhh she's in so much trouble. She's not sure she can avoid her own tears after this.

... same.

Actually, scratch that. She's just crying. That's normal at weddings, right? Right.

Yyyeah she's not the only one.

He kisses Hye-jin on the cheek.

And finally, the officiant asks, "Lee Juheon, will you accept this woman as your wife, to love, cherish, and protect, forever?"

"I do."

"Baek Hyun-jae, do you accept this man as your husband, to love, cherish, and protect, forever?"

"I do."

"Then I now pronounce you husband and wife."

"May I kiss you, light of my life?"

"Why are you making me wait—" she says, pulling him down to kiss him.

Cute.

She sniffles, gives Tae-gun's hand a squeeze, and wipes away the tears she's definitely crying with her free hand. Overall, she has too may feelings to fit into one person. Give her a bit, she needs some time to recollect herself. If that's, you know. Possible.
