Her preferred weapon, when she isn't doing exhibition matches. 

It's cool, being all up close and personal like that. They use a lot of long blades on the Third, besides offhands. Rapiers, of course, but Phoe's favorite is a katana.

Angerona's partial to straight blades herself - does Phoe ever pair long and short swords? Like the wakizashi or tanto with her katana -

Sometimes! When she feels like going all blender mode! But you can get a lot done with just the one blade, too.

They never got around to setting up that second round of matches... They really should, limit the competitors and open up the weapons rules. 

Closed door, exclusive invitation-only? Could be a lot of fun.

Sixth and Third, maybe the Ninth if Phoe wants - Angerona happens to know that Gideon is excellent at wrestling. 

She has definitely got the physique for it.

Angerona lost her own bout with Gideon - she'd like to see if Phoe can do any better. And she'd definitely like to watch when Phoe loses.

See, she says that, but in fact Phoe has been noodling away at the perfect plan to go hand-to-hand with Gideon. It involves climbing her, like a tree.

That was, arguably, Angerona's plan; she still ended up pretty helplessly pinned.

That doesn't sound like an undesirable outcome!

They can add a wrestling bout to the swordplay.

Make it the grand finale, maybe.

A climatic bout.

This sounds less like a tournament and more like the foreplay for an orgy.
