However, given your unusual for here casting ability, ADVENT would like to offer a process for an expedited inner sector pass and a path towards hiring you to provide information, cast Stabilize, and similar useful spells, in an optimized manner. Likely in major urban center hospitals."

"A sector pass? What is that?"

"We don't have the material and security capacity to maintain the inner cities for everyone yet, due to dissident groups who still resist, usually violently. We have to prioritize who is permitted within the new cities by lawfulness, useful skills, and other factors. A sector pass is permission to dwell in one of the inner city sectors, which can afford higher standards of living than the outer city that you saw earlier."

So it's like a travel pass for within a single city? That seems weird and not how cities work but a lot of things are weird here. "What's the process?"

"They can be purchased, awarded by lot, or awarded for in-demand skills or other merit, provided the recipient passes a basic security review, mostly consisting of checks for connections to violent groups and past criminal behavior. If you will permit brief mind-reading on specific questions by a caster, that will suffice as an expedited security review given your possible strategic importance."

"That doesn't sound like a problem, though I do wonder whether there is in fact much need for magical healing within the safer area of the city. It's much better at injuries than diseases."

"...It's true that trauma cases are less common in the inner cities. But that is because security is much greater in the inner cities, and we can still move trauma cases around. There are flying vehicles capable of landing in most places and moving at very high speeds. There is almost no chance of dissidents kidnapping you or causing mayhem in failed attempts to do so in the inner city."

"Oh, I wouldn't be very useful if kidnapped, you don't need to worry overmuch about that because my spells will be pulled if I use them against my goddess's interests. Though I take your point about mayhem. Will you be able to fill a thirty foot radius twice a day? There are specialized chambers built for this purpose on Golarion, so that patients can be arranged in three dimensions."

"With the population density of this part of the world and the inevitable rate of accidents even in secure areas, yes, easily. ADVENT genetic clinics can handle diseases for the most part, and a method of rapid remediation of trauma will be invaluable to many who otherwise face months-long recoveries or possible death. I can imagine such a structure- Perhaps a multi-layered structure with four or five foot high layers where stretchers can be slid into place, and an elevator platform for you?"

"That would work, yes. I do need a line between me and the patients, it doesn't go through barriers. What is a genetic?"

"Genetics is the study of inheritance of traits between parents and children. Doctors can modify the traits passed on, even after one is conceived. ADVENT uses this study to treat conditions like - I am not a doctor and am being given these examples - mucous filling lungs, thin blood diseases, or hearts being prone to stopping, or milk sickness, or cancer. Alternately, it can influence height, muscle, appearance, and other factors more generally. Genetic treatments are considered one of the greatest boons for a good life available within the inner cities."

"And it isn't available outside of those areas because it's - too hard to apply in high-mayhem conditions? Too expensive?"
