"What?" She nearly drops her everything.

Sefoni is also a bit alarmed by this information!

"Yeah, you went to that world so you've got it, now. That's how it worked for our moms," he motions between himself and Tepam.

"...I know I said that five people wasn't a lot but I didn't mean I wanted to be one of the people with special magic almost no one else has," Sefoni says, unhappy.

Ita gasps. "I am going to make a lot of money!"

"You sound oddly disappointed."

"If I have this special magic they'll want me to do the kind of magic you do, instead of what I actually want to do," Sefoni tries to explain. "I want to make plants grow, and maybe heal people..." She looks around at the results of their work, "...Though, I guess we've got all these magic plants, now," she says, thoughtful.

"You were already going to make a bunch of money, probably," Mika reminds Ita, "We're all going to have twin magic. But having this magic will probably make more, it's true."

"I know... but I have the Wealth blessing, and I think that explains it." She does not look exactly excited about it, just surprised.

"Oh, hey, all of that reminds me. I don't suppose you know someone expecting twins or a newborn?" Tepam asks Erandur.

He raises a brow at this apparent non-sequitur, "Not as far as I know, no."

Pout. "It can be any newborn, not just twins. We have magic that we could share but... just for those."

"There are no newborns I could reach, I'm afraid," he tells her apologetically. "There is a single newborn child in the town at the bottom of the mountain, but I'd have to destroy one of the panels in the greenhouse, navigate the steep drop from the top of the tower, and then trek down the mountain to reach her mother. And I have my doubts that she'd be willing to come back up here in the same manner," he adds, amused by the idea.

"Oh, we don't have to bring the baby here for the blessing part."

"No, we do like that at the island because it's cute and fun. But we can draw birth blessings from a distance and it worked."

"...Well, alright then," he agrees. "What do these birth blessings do, exactly?"

"You can use them to see what a baby's going to be like," Mika explains. "There's a set of blessing coins, and you draw three of them, and the three you get are the baby's blessings. Mine are Joy, Change, and Luck. So my mom new I was gonna be a lucky, happy person and probably kinda unpredictable," he grins.

"Yeah, Ita got Wealth, so we knew she would find some way to make money. And someone who got birth blessed can draw blessings and get a sense of the near future. Like, if you draw inspiration you can expect to have some interesting idea in the near future. And the person can draw birth blessings for other newborns too." She fetches pen and paper and starts writing blessings down.

He watches with mild interest, "Ah, divination. I suppose that could be useful. I'll have to let her mother know."

Tepam nods.

Courage, Love and Wealth.

"Nice ones."

"They are," he agrees. "I'm not sure how I'll explain this to her mother, but if all else fails I'm sure the little one will come up to the tower to visit the library, eventually, and I can let her know then."

"Well, it is at least good news. And the little one can draw blessings for other people when she grows up."

Eventually, they finish gathering all the samples they can gather and write down everything they can write down about alchemy.

By the end of it they are really sweaty and go upstairs for a shower.

Even Sefoni can really only take so much dirt before it starts getting... itchy. And all the sweat is just gross. There's definitely downsides to doing a lot of gardening.
