Haru sometimes gets coffee at Tim's, when he happens to feel like it on a random morning, or when he needs to be up long enough to finish out a guiding session with June. This morning it's the first thing.

Eventually she will reluctantly disentangle when her phone starts buzzing.
She checks it and smiles. "Oh, that's Val! Mind if I take this?"

She nuzzles him and picks up, and has an extended conversation with Val that starts with planning their shopping trip, continues to an excited summary of her powers, gets gracefully redirected away from their questions about Haru, and meanders towards Val's classes this year before Cara wraps it up and promises to see them in a few hours.
She kisses him on the forehead after she hangs up. "Hmm, anything else? Or should I head back to my place for now?"

She does this. "For the record, there was nothing there I minded you hearing and almost never will be, I'm not very private and I trust you a lot - but often not going to be true for whoever I might be talking to, so thanks for the pointer."
Esper senses! She does love her new vision.

Awww. She pats him on the head. "-I was briefly tempted to say 'tell her I said hi' but my understanding is that you should do the opposite of this! Sounds good, though. I should head out soon, and then I'll meet you back here at... 8 pm, maybe?""
