Haru sometimes gets coffee at Tim's, when he happens to feel like it on a random morning, or when he needs to be up long enough to finish out a guiding session with June. This morning it's the first thing.
And before long she's asleep in his arms, breathing softly.
She wakes up before Haru again, and decides to spend some time playing with her power a bit instead of moving and waking him up.
Can she find Cricket with it?
It takes some careful observation to translate his movements as seen by her power into a guess as to what he's doing, but she figures it out.
Probably there isn't a way to say "hi" with her power that won't either startle or annoy him with no prior discussion, so she stops being the center of the world, yawns, and stretches.
Is Haru still asleep?
His eyes are still closed but he's yawning and curling up with her a little more actively than a completely sound asleep person.
"That would be neat except for how I'd have to let go of you and you're very cuddly." Cuddle cuddle.
"Oh! Then I suppose I have no choice but to stay here and be cuddled..." She clings to him happily.
"Trapped forever in Haru's arms..." she continues, as though he hadn't said anything. "Ah well. If this is to be my fate, I will accept it gladly," nuzzle nuzzle
"Normal length minutes. I have to go to the bathroom and we have to eat and stuff." Nuzzle nuzzle. "But you're very good to hold."
"You have! For like a week straight!" He kisses her hair and releases her and stretches. "You're free."
She looks around with wide eyes.
"Freedom... I've been trapped so long I've all but forgotten the meaning of the word..."
She starts giggling, unable to keep a straight face.
"Do scrambled eggs and toast sound good?"
