This is really good butter chicken! Lucy largely unhugs in order to use her hands for eating but remains pressed against Cara’s side with an ankle hooked around hers.

The reduced surface area for guiding contact is regrettable, but it still feels nice and eating her favorite food while absurdly hungry is very very good! Cara is a well-cared for awakening esper, in this moment.

"Gotta fuel your glowups. Speaking of, you don't need HRT any more, Cara, I double checked and awakening takes care of that."

“I’m already very pretty, we’ll see what happens there. Probably it will fix my eyes.”

 "oh that is soooo exciting"  she says once she's swallowed the curry she's chomping on. 

"Doesn't re-plumb anything but cosmetically you're all set, yup. And the esper vision standard is 20/10. The hearing's even more dramatic."

That part does sound really good for Cara! Although, for Lucy, personally—“I’m excited to see what powers we get.”

"And you'll know where to go for guiding the powers testing backlash off right off the bat! You don't have to go to those mixers!"

“Might anyway. Can’t hurt to expand the cuddlepile.”

"Well, it's already remarkable that we're all three compatible, it literally can hurt to - well, literally feel like chewing on tinfoil, to expand the cuddlepile, depending, but some people go the have-six-partners route, seems to work for them."

she manages to mumble "I - probably will want to stick with you two, for guiding. if that's mutually agreeable. initially." 

“Is biting tinfoil actually bad? Do you have tinfoil?”

"We probably have some, if you really want." He looks in a drawer and comes up with a mouth-sized tinfoil scrap.

"And that's fine by me, if you guys want to be a routine cuddle pile I can probably do three, four times as many dungeons as I do with my current partner," he adds to Cara.

“Right, yeah, I mean, I might go to mixers, but that’s a fact about me, not a fact about you.” Forehead-smooch. “This is a very nice cuddlepile.”

...oh! they did hear her!! she smiles gratefully at Haru and opens her mouth to say-

"thahmhmnhmnmm", because the forehead smooch turns her already struggling brain off entirely. 

Hm perhaps that means she should smooch the forehead again.
