They wake up lying on the ground.
Outdoors.
It's a bright, clear day.
Their body feels different.
Who's in front?
Warm, eager curiosity, with a side of playful smirk? Okay feels like it's Sable.
"Mm. Yes, you would need one of those to practice that sort of technique effectively, wouldn't you; let me see what I can do to remedy that." She hasn't been making anything particularly massive today, yet...
She can afford to expend some of today's mass allotment on another training tool, especially a simple one like "a somewhat larger than standard reinforced punching bag".
"It was just the right thing to do? It's not as if it won't help the both of us, really."
"True, but it being the right thing or helping us both doesn't make it unworthy of praise or appreciation or reward," Sable replies, kissing Momo once more.
Then she bounces up into another backflipping kick, then on an instictive whim as she reaches the peak of her arc post kick she webs the edges of the bag and yanks herself rapidly toward it feet-first. That kick sets the bag to swinging, and she rebounds at the ground into a backward handspring before webbing the center of the bag and yanking herself toward it in a blur to punch before springing off again.
She's just going to keep trying variations here.
"I mean, that's true..."
And then she can't think of anything else to say, especially with the warmth of Sable's kisses lingering.
Sable's doing really good with the bag. Maybe it's time to add more complications.
Oh wow spidey-sense is a weird feeling. It's almost like noticing something out of the corner of her eye, but not with her eye. It's with her mind. It's a visceral sudden sense that a weapon is there and being pointed at her and she should act.
All of that information flits through her in an instant, and she twists mid-air out of Momo's line of fire. The motion lines her up to point a hand at the gun, a webline shooting out to yank it out of Momo's grasp. Then she tosses it at the tree, following it with a spray of sticky webbing to stick it in place.
Her next punch is off-center, and she glances off the side of the bag at a wild angle before bouncing off the ground and back in for another kick.
What about spot-Created (and, of course, safely blunted) throwing knives? And what if she throws another one at one of the training dummies while Sable's dealing with those first few, to knock it over the edge?
She twists in mid-air to avoid all of them, but because the dummy isn't actually a person the warning doesn't trigger. When she notices the dummy tipping over, she kicks off the bag to lunge at the edge, catching the dummy with a web and sticking it to the ground, then kips up to lunge back at the bag.
Hm. What else can she do to test Sable...
(She really wishes Kiyuko was here, Kiyuko would have so many ideas. And also be a sparring partner that could keep up with the Pirates' super-reflexes.)
Smoke grenades would hinder her more than Sable, she suspects, and she's proofed the costume against flashbangs as best she could, but -
Wider-ranging attacks, delayed effects, and also, manipulating the evasive maneuvers.
She increases the variety of things she's throwing at Sable - including nets of quite some tensile strength, amongst other things that are merely projectiles of different shapes and qualities - and as that goes on, tries to maneuver Sable over any of the projectiles that were secretly mildly explosive. (To wit, they are, or they contain, paintbombs.)
Oh that's a lot of attacks.
Swarming Sable like this, it becomes clear that spidey-sense doesn't have a lot of built-in triage. There are enough signals that it's harder for her to instinctively weave through them.
In the initial overwhelm, Momo can tag Sable with a paintbomb and a few blunt projectiles. She starts to adjust after a few moments, though, letting a few blunts hit her to leave enough slack to focus on deflecting the paintbombs and nets. If Momo deliberately misses with one and puts a long timer on it, she might be able to surprise Sable, but it'll take a lot of noise in her spidey-sense.
