“Well, that part’s trivial.” She pulls a googly eye out of a pocket and puts it in the tank.

"It is so well fed."

“I wouldn’t keep a pet I didn’t expect to treat well.”

"I wonder if nourishes more fully for the thing to have been purpose created to give to this agglo."

“Huh. Good question.” She gets out a notebook and writes that down.

"Research questions book?"

"Yep. I've got the kids pending resurrection book, a spellbook, and the low-priority research questions book, all in sparkly purple notebooks."

"Requesturrections."

Snort. "Who's doing the requesting, them or me?"

"They do the requesting. You do requests."

"Because, like, you requested your sister, but I heard someone mention a dead friend and more or less demanded information about her."

"Ah, in addition to doing requests you do command performance. I am sure everyone has someone."

"It gives me the most magnificent excuse to be a nosy bitch, you see."

"What a good way to be with this power!"

She gestures at the giant eye on her chair.

"The bit is committed. Anyway, are we having a study group here now or am I here only to see it?"

"Nobody else is here right now and I don't know anyone to be planning to show up imminently but I'm certainly not going to kick you out."

"Okay but I cannot leave by my own self so there must be some plan for when I do that."

"Oh, yeah, just--" she holds out a hand.

And Nia is back in the cafeteria. 

"Thank you muchly!" And she helps herself to an additional muffin and traipses off.

Bella sleeps in a little on weekends but still arrives while the caf is open. "Good morning! Oh score donuts, I love that donuts, I'm so glad you don't appear to have grown up with a dietary problem that would limit your ability to provide things like donuts." She wants three and also bacon and eggs.

"That would have sucked! But I was very healthy. I've lived a charmed life. Want to visit my pocket dimension? It's confirmed non-nauseating."
