Heee!!!

Drinks for everyone in the dungeon, then! 'Hema is guessing a bit for Fay, but, well, she knows what both she and Anakin like after they've been screaming themselves hoarse. Not that hard a jump.

Much appreciated.

Mmmm yes. Very helpful. Good alt.

She kisses Fay's forehead before returning to her own pile of girlfriends (and metamour).

Oh good. More snuggles.

Meanwhile, upstairs, Lily is very much not paying attention to her Force sense of her mom - or the rest of the household - and is instead focusing on calculations for the latest sets of experiments she ran on interactions between the Force and magic, aimed at teasing apart more of the Force's side of things. (Very difficult. It does not like being peered at under a microscope. Annoying of it.)

She's gotten into a bit of a zone, fortunately.

When her archive droid, Tyrant, starts flicking the indicator light that it believes it's found something.

She finishes a line, then sets her stylus down. "Got something for me, Tyrant?"

"Perhaps. Some of the sensors your predecessor had installed on a certain facility are sending off alerts. The facility was not of his construction, but was one he reclaimed from someone he believed to have been a Darth during the last days of the Sith Empire."

"I believe it may be of especial interest to you."

"Huh." She solicits the facility, and - okay, yeah, not one of the ones she's gotten around to telling her mom about. (...Probably she should bring her mom in on more of the 'poking ancient Sith artifacts,' but, also, Lily enjoys having pet projects and Palpatine left behind a lot of crap which generally likes Lily way more than it likes her mom.) "Does the situation appear dangerous?"

Tyrant pauses for a long moment, then: "It does not appear currently dangerous, but might become so if mishandled."

"Good enough for me."

She messages Tayab - 'Hey, you up for a field trip?'

'Turned in my last final about three and a half hours ago, so yeah. Guess I am. Where are we going this time?'

'Ancient Sith facility! Booby traps probably either like me or were already disabled or are super sneaky. Contents weren't dangerous last anyone checked, but might become so. Some alarms are going off. It'll be fun.'

'...I'll pack the blast vests.'

'This is why you're the best.'

Meet up at the spaceport, then?

Seems the obvious place. Tayab is waiting with a couple bags of supplies.

"Dig up any more information about where we're going?"

She hadn't exactly wanted to take the elevators past her mom and friends, so she'd jumped out of her window. Hadn't even gotten any second looks; their neighbors know Jedi live in that building. She gets Tyrant secure and starts pre-flight checks on their ship.

"Barely notable system. Mid-Rim, off main trade routes, not a lot of resources, overall really boring - so, perfect if you want something most people won't look twice at. There's an old stone temple kind of buried a bit on the second planet. Sidious noted a really strong dark side presence, way more than anything he's found that wasn't already a famous dark side location, but the description of the temple doesn't sound like whoever built it was going for the ultimate edgy Sith aesthetic. Storage rooms were stocked when he found it, and he didn't mess with things much - he didn't really record this, but Tyrant remembers how he was acting, and I'm pretty sure he was nervous about poking it. The central room has two life support tanks, which sound kinda like the ones that the Collective maintain empty bodies in. Each has a human or near-human, both apparently female. Sidious was pretty sure at least one of them was a powerful Sith from the Old Republic era, but he didn't record - or let Tyrant at records of - much more."

"Old Republic? Not High Republic? Wow."

"Yeah. Pretty old, though not nearly as ancient as the stuff Luke's been poking lately. Also more threatening, possibly? The Banite Sith had a lot of power individually, but there was a lot of discontinuity of instruction and information, so techniques were constantly getting lost, and being super powerful in the dark side isn't actually all that helpful for setting traps - it gets kinda like trying to hold a blaster canon with an insane kick back in your hands, and use that to engrave a chip."

"Ancient cloned Sith that not even ol' Empy wanted to mess with," Tayab mutters with the look of a man who is thinking he should have packed more blasters. "This should be fun."

She giggles. "We still have those extra blasters in the holds," Lily teases. "And they might not be clones - if they are, that could be a problem, since Force sensitive clones tend to be batshit insane... But could be something closer to suspended animation - not precisely that, you wouldn't need the life support pod then, but I bet you can suppress a lot of the aging process safely, especially for someone unconscious, even without direct gene editing..."

"Oh, so they're just going to wake up expecting to bring back a Sith Empire just like they knew before their nap. That makes me feel much better."

"I'll explain the different modern political context, don't worry." Kiss.
