Shavri hates politics. 

She's always hated the theoretical concept of politics, and until recently she's managed to avoid ever interacting with the practical aspect, and now she has firsthand experience and knows she hates that EVEN MORE. 

She's so confused. Everyone else is even more confused. Everyone wants things from her. Answers, mostly. Sometimes they want a target that obediently holds still while they yell 'what were you THINKING' at it. 

...Honestly she's not at all sure what she was thinking. Each step of the road seemed to make sense, at the time, or at least seemed like the only possible or the only ethical option. And yet, here she is. Answering to the Senior Circle under Truth Spell, while they demand an explanation for why she tried to save someone who's apparently planning to invade their Kingdom. 

Shavri really doesn't think that part is her fault, given that it was a state secret at the time.

It turns out that she also hates the concept of knowing important state secrets! Who knew! 

The Senior Circle is kind enough to grant her a short break to use the privy. Shavri doesn't Mindspeak Randi. He's not angry with her - anymore - but he's worried and somehow that's even more grating. 

She splashes water on her face, and grits her teeth, and returns to the interrogation cell to the quite pleasant and nicely-furnished private meeting room.
