The rhythm rumbles and builds. It isn't like combining Will and Hope — it feels wilder, less rhythmic, less contained. But with the focus of her loves and hopes to hold the center, how can it not fall through her, out, and down, and in to place?

The tourmaline beats in time with her heart, flares of Love washing through the finest fractal tracery of blue.

It doesn't quite feel as measurable and precise as her hybrid Will designs, with their definite 'charge levels', but she can tell that it will never run out, not all the way, so long as she has Love in her heart.

She settles in beside it - it's honestly kind of affirming, to feel? She's not too worried about it maybe being hazardous or anything, given all the shielding and the general guidance towards safety from the gift, so she'll just.. lean into it, for now? Besides, she's pretty sure most of those risks are a lot worse when it's not her love - there's nothing wrong with her leaning into the warmth of her own nature, you know? 

Honestly, she wouldn't be surprised if she ended up doing something a little more elaborate this time over? But that's okay! Honestly, she wants to go and make a proper emotional impression storage system and light system sometime, but she's not in a rush. For now... She adds a bit more 'space' to the structure as it grows, focusing on the wistfulness warmth and her fondness for her old plushies so she can save a little more of her love in here, sometime, and the beginnings of a basic power output system for charging her later projects.  

She's got a bunch of little crystal projects going on for now, and she's probably a bit too heart tired to do too much more emotional spectrum stuff? So... 

She discards that power, for now, and replaces it with the inherent magic pool power, and works through some of her exercises 'til dinnertime, assuming it works as she hopes for spellfixing? 

To the team: 

Hey! Anyone wanna grab something more for the pantry or order something for the meeting? Pretty mother hubbard in here, unfortunately. 

With an internal magic pool, the exercises are much more possible. She can get to the point of successfully capturing and stilling a thaumaturgic light spell by dinner, although she hasn't prepared any vessels to store it in.

Pizza!

That is, I can get us Pizzas. 30 seconds or less, right from Little Italy! And maybe also pick up some snacks for the kitchen. And maybe some chicken tenders to keep in the freezer.

What kinds does everyone want?

I haven't had pizza before; I'll try whatever you recommend.

Me neither! But I want a pepperoni pizza, please. Just to try it.

My normal everything with goat cheese, please, KF.

Pepperoni is good! Also like sausage and most of the things that people put on meatlovers' pizzas but there's a reason why people go back to pepperoni alone time and time again! 

Oh and dipping sauces are good too! Remember liking creamy garlic and blue cheese and cheddar jalepeno, but lots of options are good there! 

Then Kid Flash can be back in short order with eight pizzas, garlic bread, some bottles of soda, various dipping sauces, and a vegetable platter with hummus because his mother is going to ask him what he had for dinner.

The rest of the team trickles into the kitchen, sorting through the boxes. Miss Martian is looking a lot better.

"So what are all these kinds? I know about pepperoni, and I know that people don't like pineapple or anchovies, or at least they always argue about it, but what's all of that?" she asks, pointing at a meat-lover's pizza.

"What's wrong with anchovies? They're a lovely fish. I didn't know they were an option on pizza, though."

Kid Flash shudders. "The kind on pizzas are super salty."

"Yeah a lot of fish stuff is a little overdone, unfortunately, but modernity offers many a wonder for those who are willing to bear slightly suboptimal quality." 

She goes and nabs one of the meaty pizzas and a pours out much of a dipping sauce onto her plate, grabbing three slices of the pizza for the moment. 

"Sausage, two different kinds of bacon and pepperoni! Some of the meats are a little fancier but ultimately they're pretty similar cold cuts, just a bit of a different texture and - heft to them?" 

She chomps into it and sighs out with a bit of mm-y satisfaction. 

Kid Flash manages to eat more than the rest of them put together, but that's why he got eight pizzas. There's enough to go around, and so everyone can try a bit of the ones they're curious about. Kaldur thinks the food is more than a little strange, but ends up falling in love with the cheese, which they don't have in Atlantis. Miss Martian proves to like the vegetable pizzas better.

"I'm glad I tried the pepperoni, though! That was Megan's favorite pizza on Hello, Megan!," she confides.

...Honestly now she's wondering if she's plural and canonbonded to her? That would... honestly not be the weirdest thing that had happened from exposure to alien media, and in a big team of superheroes is hardly the worst place to be doing that kind of internal work. It would be so awkward to explain, though... 

She tries the goat cheese one, but it's a bit too rich for her taste. A solid thing to do sometimes, though! 

She smiles. 

"I'm glad you like it! Reminds me of simpler times, a little, and always found a good way to really fill up my tummy, when that's something I really need." 

She eats a good half of the meat lover's pizza before calling it, and along with a few glasses of water along the way. 

The training computer blinks at her as she passes.

That sounds lovely, Topaz. I assume you're thinking free-diving with the aid of our rings? If so ... have you ever been to the Great Barrier Reef? It's probably my favorite place to swim, since I have the pick of anywhere on the planet.

That was on the list of things I was considering! I've never been, but it does sound beautiful.

I'm not sure what your schedule looks like — flying all over means I don't really have a consistent timezone, but the ring lets me delay sleep while on duty — but I'm free right now for the next few hours, or tomorrow morning between 10:00 and 13:00 EST. Or some other day, of course, but those are my next openings. Would any of those times work well for you?

I'm good for... call it three hours from now? I've got an informal debrief from a mission coming up soon, but other than that, my schedule is pretty free 'til my visit to themiscrya come Wednesday. There's lots of stuff to work on, of course, but haven't pinned myself down too much yet.
