If she could use a power like this one to safely figure out which of several otherwise indistinguishable wires would need to be cut to defuse a bomb instead of having it explode, then that would be a 'find out'.

Ah! Yeah, that would be moving information from outside of her soul, and this kind of power cannot do that. It could do an abstract sensory mode for whether wires are preventing imminent, proximate explosions?

No, darling, that's what she has the danger sense for, but thank you.

They would like to switch out their thought-acceleration for the future-thoughts version.

Okay!

The world speeds back up to normal and then ...

It feels different, actually. Not a constant thing where they 'just' think faster, but rather a sense that they can take a little longer to think things through before taking an action. Also, this one counts as synergizing with the danger sense for some reason.

Not just for some reason, but, if she has intuited correctly, for the specific reason that both are notably paracausal in method of action.

Merge them, please.

Can do!

The sparks click together, and she gets the sense that if there were a danger coming, she would get a moment to be aware of it and reflect before anything happened.

Might be useful.  Would certainly prevent such foolishness as standing in the line of fire of a Kryptonian laser eyebeam.

...Huh.  The periodic table's probably different here.  Can't have Krypton-the-noble-gas with Krypton-the-planet, surely.

Speaking of divinatory powers, can she get - something that means she won't make a fool of herself by using erroneously assumed common knowledge?

Um. That's sort of doing multiple things at once.

It could do a power for determining whether someone expects her to already know something? Or a specialized danger-sense for social blunders, maybe?

She's thinking more of a spot-the-difference sort of thing.  A common knowledge comparator, if that helps.

Oh! Yes, it can do intuition for which details of common-knowledge differ between their mind and their present location. Does that work?

Yes, it does.

If it's possible, they would like the power to include knowledge of how that knowledge differs.

No, that's too big for it to fit in a single spark, unfortunately.

It creates the requested power, and a new mental affordance opens up to them: by considering a piece of knowledge, they can tell whether it contradicts common knowledge in their location.

With the spark, there also comes a subtle sense of stretching, or growth. It fills up their being and presses against the limits of the possible with the gentlest possible touch.

Oh, interesting.

...They suddenly wonder if they could play with the 'this location' to get a much firmer grounding in magic by process of elimination, if they used it in, say, Shadowcrest or the Tower of Fate - but that is not what they are immanently invested in.

They draw the Gift's attention to that sensation, and ask - does this mean what we think it means?  Does it mean growth in strength directly, or perhaps growth in number of possible powers supported?

All souls naturally grow and improve over time — especially by overcoming adversity and doing things that are important. The gift was designed by a very smart and very elegant creator; the natural repulsion between sparks that don't like each other is harnessed to help their soul expand just a bit faster than it could on its own, turning a waste into a benefit.

And yes, the number of sparks that it can hold is related to how much room there is in their soul, so if their soul grows enough it will eventually be able to squeeze in a fifth one!

Well isn't that interesting.

...Right, what were they doing?

Shields, [INFORMATION REDACTED].

Right.  Okay.  They have something of a template...

They should see how much they can do freehand, probably.

...Then that falls to her.  If she wants them to self-sustain, at least.

This is going to work.  She believes she can do this, wield the power of hope and will commingled, to ward against all that would snuff their light out.  She knows what hope feels like.  And it might hurt, right now, to try to hope this hard - to believe in themselves to this extent.  Especially when they've fucked up quite recently.  But.  They are, as the reference goes, filled with DETERMINATION.  And hope springs eternal.  So they believe they can fly.

Emerald and azure and indigo light flare around them in a shifting corona, playing around them like an aurora. The colors shift moment to moment as their emotions do ... but there is enough hope and determination to let them float up off the ground, suspended in the air as though gravity has renounced them.

Wonder woman leans back from the light and reaches a hand up to her ear.

"Diana to Superman. What's the ETA on the construction ...? Okay, thanks."

...Oh this is beautiful.

They won't fly far.  But they will gently hover for a moment, basking in the lightness of actually flying!, before touching down, and damping the flare, relief obvious on their face.

"...Give me some credit, if you please.  I'm working on shielding.  And only on personal shielding.  Which is well-attested, not something that could possibly get out of hand like trying to capture a spark of White, and furthermore something I find myself urgently in need of for the sake of my continued mental and emotional wellbeing, because, and I want to stress the importance of this, I could have died just then and I almost did.  I know near-Death experiences," and here she actually finds herself looking around for a moment because she's not expecting Death of the Endless to have been watching like this is the near-Vimes experience from Thud! but it wouldn't surprise her either, though it's a bit late now, "are Tuesday for y'all, but I'm not used to that, and I need to sort this out as soon as possible lest my brain fucking implode.  Ah, pardon my language.  ...I'm not going to try and...  invent a lightsaber or something.  Not here.  If I didn't have the feeling that I was going to need an anchor if I wanted to hang this reliably I would say I'm not trying to do anything that Lanterns can't do the moment they accept the Ring, including the no-support-software version Alan Scott had, but making foci for lightwork is more of a Guardians thing.  Still, though.  It's not going to explode.  It's not going to do anything but exist and then harmlessly disperse, affecting nothing and no-one but myself.  I am as confident in that as I am that the sun will come up tomorrow.  Are we good?"

(...Okay, they absolutely have to make her a lightsaber at some point.  If they do it with Will it'll even be the right color!)
