It's a frowny face.  The two dots are eyes and then the curve is a frown.  It's sideways.

She tilts her head, then nods.

What does the :3 one mean? Can your face do that even slightly? (Copying :3 does not take her nearly as long as copying "his handwriting" did before.)

He tries for a few seconds.  Not really.  Some animals have faces like that, like cats.

It was boring out there and I was sleeping as much as possible, so it shouldn't be hard for me to stay up however long is convenient.

Zeal feels, irrationally, that it's very rude of Promise to not let him sleep on the floor for her, and rationally that it's actually very polite given that she seems to be a sane person who probably finds obvious devotion off-putting (and so this way he's less likely to end up living a completely magicless life, in the long run).  That'll be when we go to church in the morning, then.

That should be fine.  You can read books or browse the internet or even watch movies with headphones.  ...Hm.  A movie is a series of videos that are arranged to tell a story.

I should explain some stuff first.  The beginning of this has real historical events, although the characters are I think all fictional.  But then they go to a fantasy land which as far as I know doesn't exist anywhere real.
