Julien wakes up... nicely. Slowly. It's very cozy here, and the room looks expensive, and everything feels very okay.
Outside, there's a nice white-gravel driveway leading out into a pleasant forest. The building he just exited might be some sort of mansion.
And there's just - another planet, with rings and two moons, right there. Absolutely huge in the sky.
(Is this... even if that's a giant screen that doesn't explain how he got here. So it's probably a dungeon????(???))
Nod.
The environment is nice and kind of generically garden-y, except for the sky. There are some statues and fountains about, and - here's one, that Journey leads him to. A big mirror, set in stone, flowers growing densely around the edge.
Okay, what's it going to be, the guy doesn't have a reflection? Or Julien doesn't?
His eyes, far from their usual deep deep almost-black brown, are pale and watery and blue or gray or something.
...No, he's not going to do that. (Is he an -) (Does it even make any more sense for them to have put contacts -) (But he doesn't remember -)
He looks expectantly at Journey.
"Delusion, breaking from reality. Self-centered paranoia. Thinking everything's out to get you."
"That and not - forgetting the last howevermany years of societal progress?"
