Erika knows the route to school pretty well. She walks it every day, after all. She could do it almost in her sleep, which means it's a good opportunity to get lost in her own thoughts for a while. Something new and unexpected she needs to pay attention to almost never shows up.
It's really no problem. Much better for the prospect of Erika getting any sleep at all, too.
Alright. Sleep well.
(And Ami proves just as capable of falling asleep quickly the second time.)
It takes Erika a while longer, but eventually she will quiet her circling thoughts enough to drop off.
Ami eats breakfast with them the next morning. After: "Staying over was fun. I wouldn't mind doing that more, even when we don't have a specific project like today."
"It must be the mythical friendship I've read so much about." Also cute girls. Makes everything better.
Nod nod.
"Anyway. I was thinking it'd be good to get a little practice in before confronting the radio woman. It's Friday, so that gives us today and tomorrow afternoon."
"...I'm worried about her victims. If she's hospitalizing people every night, when she reads their letters... We don't know if or how well they'll recover."
"The cram students got better after the teacher was dealt with... but I suppose they weren't hospitalized. We could try healing them afterwards?"
"If our opponents are stealing energy at a large scale like this, it'll keep coming up, too."
While they're at school, maybe – though, speaking of: "Do you have archery club today as well?"
