Demon attacks are rare.
Of course, a single traveler or a small group of them is so fantastically unsafe from such that no one in their right mind would do that in the first place, but large caravans are usually perfectly safe.
Talyr goes back to Mezeidai's bed to sit next to her, mantling his wings protectively.
Mezeidai curls up into Talyr, not sure to what extent the lie applies to his boyfriend and--presumably that's the one who noticed the other captive was a person--as well as the others.
Khythen--makes nothing resembling a sudden move or an attempt to get closer to her.
"Talked about...?"
"...this is gonna shake everybody the fuck up, isn't it," says Izaneth. "It kinda shakes me up and I haven't even been playing."
"Yes, I rather think it might," says Talyr, hugging Mezeidai. "You might want to let them know when they wake up. I'm not leaving Mezeidai alone until I'm satisfied that no one is going to hurt her again."
"...I'll just. Go and do that," Khythen says a little awkwardly, and goes to go and do that.
...Izaneth comes into the room.
"Hey," he says quietly to Mezeidai. "I'm Izaneth. Sorry about, uh, everything."
"I don't think we have time for a long conversation now, but maybe I can introduce you to my boyfriends properly later."
"You didn't do anything," she tells Izaneth. "...Except make the 'beds' comfier, which is a good thing."
