Born Casval Rem Deikun, son of the late prime minister of Side 3, Zeon Deikun. He found out his father was poisoned by the Zabi family at a young age and swore his life to revenge. He joined the army , under the name Char Aznable, of the nation that the Zabi family forged in the political turmoil of Zeon Deikuns death so as to be able to kill the Zabis from the inside of their forces. Now calling himself Char he rose through the ranks as the famous Ace Pilot, the Red Comet.
