"Hate to be that guy, but what exactly happened with the alphas? Are they planning anything, are they leaving town?"

"They may be leaving, but I don't think that they're planning anything."

"Who died? Was there a fight?"

"Isaac, help me clear the table. Scott, have this talk somewhere else."

"Pascale, want to go to my room so we can talk."

"Okay."

Follow follow.

He leaves the door open, judging the distance will be enough to satisfy his mother.

"We need a plan, unless you're sure both sides are under control. If they are, I want to know why you're sure."

"The Darach said she would be satisfied with Deucalion's death. We gave her that, and she seems to be happy with it. The emissary to the alpha pack seems competent to keep them under control until I can speak to them all individually. I've already talked to the twins and I believe I made my point with them, they may spread the news to the others. And if not, any strike they make should be directed at either the Darach, who deserves it regardless of current friendliness, or at me or Ellayania, and I can take care of myself."

"You don't expect retaliation against me and Derek, or uninvolved humans, or the Argents?"

"I do not."

"Thanks, Pascale. If that's really it, it'll be nice to relax. Do you want to go with me and Isaac to ask Dr. Deaton if there's a way to get you home?"

"Given that it's me we're asking for, yes, I do."

"It's a little late to go now. Tomorrow, after school?"

"Yeah, I can work with that."

"Alright. Good night, Pascale. Thanks for everything. Thanks Ellayania."

"See you."

And after an uneventful night of rest, it's back to school!

Does she still like math? She knows math right?

She has a few math classes to teach.

She can do math. She can knock that math right out of the park and into the students' heads.

They do so much math learning.

So much.

Yup.

After her second class, someone is loitering outside her door.

Well, they should stop loitering and come in to talk while they have a chance, then.

She knocks, after most of the students have filtered out.

"Hello. Do you need something?"

"I was hoping to discuss your plans for this town."

"Nothing's been firmly settled yet. In what regard specifically?"
