"Okay, yeah, I guess not to that degree. At least, not usually. That sounds a lot more fun than the kind of bad luck I have. Are they disproportionately likely to happen when I have important plans? Also, how does this interact with the hunter?"

"Not disproportionately, no. Hunter will be able to take advantage of hijinks but not quite as much as you might expect."

"Y'know, I think I'm gonna have to take this one. My plans already get interrupted by my constantly shifting sleep patterns far more often than this hopefully will. I like interesting."

"Second thing. Usually has the effect of people finding you more attractive at first sight, evens out after they know you longer and then you are just as pretty to them as you would be anyway and still noticeable."

"Hmm... That aspect does sound kind of tempting, but like, evidently I can make my new form hot anyway... Hey, do all witches get to choose their appearance like that?"

"Guided awakenings do, natural awakenings no but there is subconscious stuff that mostly has your, not best interests but your id, rather, in mind, so they usually turn out nice anyway unless they have the ugly complication."

"Well, and again I'm kind of ashamed to admit this, but if I'm going to be fat, and most people don't want to be fat either actively or in their subconscious id, then presumably very few witches are fat, so I'll stand out for that anyway?"

"Yes but this will make you stand out among regular folks too even in a fatness convention. Do they have those?"

"They have one encompassing all size based kinks, which means fatness but also giantesses and tiny people and blueberry inflation and suchlike. Considered going, but I'm not into the other stuff and worried there wouldn't be enough for me to do."

"Well, mortals noticing me more isn't really a concern, given how given the whole masquerade using magic to commit crimes is probably a bad idea anyway, so it seems like it won't really be much of a hindrance unless there's something I'm missing, so yes."

"One where your true form is stuck aged less than fourteen? There is also a more extended version of this which you do not have available, just the age part, but many people stuck looking young are also hard to take seriously and more excitable and imaginative, might be mistaken for this."

"What else isn't available to me, besides this and that one race you mentioned earlier that can technically sort of time travel?"

"Most species! You have fourteen species choices, there are nearly fifty if you count obscure ones. And some perks and of course most deities did not make you a warlock offer, and plenty of complications, but you have most of the common ones to choose from."

"Nope. Oh, hey, should probably check on this since I'm gonna have to deal with a hunter, how do Academics and Warlocks normally fight? The only magic I've heard of so far that would be useful in a fight is the various elementalisms, which are apparently difficult for non-Sorcerers to learn."

"You can do elementalism! You just have to pick only one of it - neutral affinities do not appear in the elementalisms - and do not get a discount for academic either. Many things can be good in a fight if you have enough of them! Academics are good at alchemy and runes, which want prep work and materials but get you magic potions and swag potentially very scary, and witchery and portals and aethernautics, which are not so directly damaging. You can also buy perks that can help, like if you want to be a gunwitch for instance."

"What does being a gunwitch mean? Also, does magic make melee weapons viable? I think I'd probably prefer those."

"You can rune up a magic sword or something no problem, sure. You will need something to deal with incoming ranged attacks, but you do not have to reply to them with also ranged attacks. Gunwitches have their magic wand be a gun."

"Yeah, if buffing my physical stats and hitting people with a huge axe or something is a viable strategy I think I'd like that. No gun for me. What are my options for dealing with incoming ranged attacks, though?"
