"Yeah. Now take us to the fish!" She growls happily.

"I've got to stay here, sorry. It's not hard to find though."

Gren stays behind and buys a snack for one rupee. "I could use a break. You guys don't get tired as easy as I do you know."

Fish are easy to find! The kind Nemo wanted aren't quite as easy, but probably they just have to go further and deeper.

They strip off and dive in, and within about half an hour have plenty of the requested fish.

Gren is chatting with the sailors. "Hello again! None of the sailors want to sell their sails. One guy said it was two thousand rupees but that's definitely just him making fun of me..."

"Don't be mean." He hisses at the sailor.

"Well, let's go give Nemo these fish."

"Yeah! You got a lot, we'll be a little bit rich at three rupees per pound for them..."

Nemo tries not to giggle at the high profit margins he's about to get as he weighs the fish and counts out crystals. After combining the proceeds with what they already had, their budget is about three hundred rupees.

"No luck on a sail yet, I'll surely have something for you by tomorrow though."

"Where do you live?"

"I hope you don't overly mind if I don't tell that to everyone who asks. I'll be at this stall again tomorrow, that's how to find me."

Anything else they should get done that day?

Touring the other stuff for sale. It's a pretty wide selection. Gren kind of wants a pretty carved-shell necklace she sees, but then they might not have enough money for the sail so they'd better wait.

Zeke manages to pocket it without either the stall owner or Gren noticing.

...Tabby might notice that the kind of fish Nemo had them go get is on sale (cleaned and sliced up all nice and cooked, admittedly), for rather more than three rupees a pound. More like twenty.

She laughs. "The sly git."

"Huh, what happened?"

"He tricked us. Those fish are worth way more than three rupees a pound!"

"Oh, wow you're right. There's no way preparing them is worth seventeen rupees. It would make sense if it were like, eight or ten. They'll just go bad if he doesn't sell them. But we should have gotten that much if they sell for that much!"

"We should find him."

"I can already hear him saying 'A deal is a deal'. Makes me want to punch him. We'll have to yell at whatever he says for the sail, he'll try to do the same thing I'm sure."

Tabby starts sniffing the air. "This is gonna be fun."

"You can smell him?"
