Yanor's owl spirit animal follows them in the sky for a while. Eventually it joins them down on the raft. He pulls out and lights a lantern once the sun sets.

Around eight hours of travel later, he beaches the raft. "Everybody out. Bring your cargo with." He grabs his stuff and walks up the beach to where the sand becomes dirt. "This spot looks good. I'll create our shelter for tonight." He begins casting a spell.

Once it's dark, Lhín also flits inland and grabs the bull's-eye lantern to give them a better view of the land. She doesn't get tired, apparently, and having a good way to see the coast as well as the area ahead of them makes things somewhat less worrying.

Off the raft, with her backpack, and in towards the sand! She digs around for her hammock while Yanor casts his spell.

Sylvan hideaway.

A camouflaged trapdoor made of wood appears from nowhere and melds with the earth. Yanor opens the trapdoor and climbs down.

It can't be that camouflaged when it's made of wood on a beach, but it does what it can. She does have a hard time seeing it at first, at least.

Down she goes! ...wow, this is definitely better than a normal Rope Trick. It's much larger, for one, and there's wooden furniture and everything! Given that it would need to be third circle anyway to fit in the Extend, she can definitely see the advantages of this over a normal wizard's version.

Everyone else brings down their stuff and rolls out their bedrolls. It's time to sleep.

Hammock instead of a bedroll for her, but otherwise, yes. Sleep now.

Yanor wakes them up in the morning. There's water and food laid out across the table. They each get a cup of water and a single berry.

Getting dressed in the morning takes some thinking, but Yanor did design the Hideaway to allow for privacy. She manages, and offers to Prestidigitate everyone's clothing clean while they prepare themselves.

Water! Yay water. And berry in mouth. ...what a strange feeling. That should not be as filling as it is, but suddenly she feels not at all hungry, and energized in an odd way. Presumably that's the feeling of this lasting all day.

Clothes cleaned, waterskins refreshed, and all of them fed, it seems to her like they're ready to depart.

It's a misty morning on the Varisian coastline.

Yanor conjures the raft.

Julen loads it full of cargo.

They're gliding across the water in no time at all.

And she can keep them all from going insane while they go! They see some things looking angrily at them from the shore, and at one point something throws a projectile of some sort at their raft. It misses, though, and a Burst of Radiance either scares it off or leaves it unconscious. She can't actually tell which, from here. After that they make their way a little farther out from the shore, though staying close enough to notice if it's turning.

The vast swamp of the Mushfens stretches out beside them. Strange creatures are sometimes visible in the distance.

Hours pass. The sun rises higher and higher into the sky until it's directly above them.

Yanor hands out more berries and water.

She eats, she drinks, she refills her waterskin. She keeps the conversation going when someone wants to talk, and flickers her shadow in response to Lhín's comments when nobody wants to talk. She spends some time playing with her spell diagrams, trying to figure out what's going on with her Burst of Radiance. She gets nowhere.

This is definitely a better idea than Teleporting, and far more comfortable and efficient than walking, but it is nevertheless quite a while to be sitting around with few other people and no space whatsoever to walk around. So it goes.

They keep moving.

Five hours later, before sunset, Yanor beaches the raft. It disappears soon after. "We made good time today. We're almost there and will arrive early tomorrow."

Only ten hours of raft today? Spell slots are limited, as always. So it goes. There is still some time before they sleep tonight, so she spends some time walking around on the beach and reminding her legs how moving long distances works. She has been sitting for a while.

While they're waiting for it to be late enough for Yanor to cast his Hideaway, she spends some time with Julen. He shows her how to make her Images move a little more realistically in combat, and once she's figured out what he means, he spends some time practicing against an Image she sets up for him. She can hold her focus for a while, and being able to see through it apparently doesn't make it much less effective. It having no physical substance does, but he says it's still better than practicing against the air, and that was the alternative.

(Tomas scans her illusion, gives it a few precise strikes with his rapier, and bows and sits down. He appears to prefer fiddling with his collection, arranging it in different ways which presumably make sense to him. She doesn't understand any of it, but it makes him happy, and Lhín seems to be tracking slightly.)

Soon enough, the sun dips below the horizon. Yanor conjures the sylvan hideaway.

In, down, set up her hammock. It's a new layout this time, tweaked to better fit four of them and with adjustments to make privacy more easily obtained. (It's easy for her. Darkness is all she needs, the humans can't see in the dark. They need to put in somewhat more effort.) And eventually, to sleep.

Yanor is again the first one up. Breakfast is served. It's berries again.

What a surprise! The spell works on berries, so berries it will be. She doesn't expect much novelty in her food, it's not a problem.

Up, out, and away? They're close, but definitely still rafting distance rather than walking.

It takes them only two hours to arrive. Two hundred feet in the air, above the morning fog, is the tip of a grand statue. It shines a bright pulsing blue.

The water is clear beside them. Reefs are visible though it and shoals of fish swim by.

That would be the statue they're aiming for, then. "Are the reefs easily passable for the raft? If not, this may be our cue to travel to shore. That may in fact be the ideal option here even if the raft can pass the reefs, we will need to seek a route in and I anticipate any such route will be more easily found from atop a relative solid rather than the water."
