Seeing his chance, Spaceman Spiff makes a dash for a transport vessel, sneaks inside, and takes his seat.

Susy watches as Calvin runs into the bus as if he's being chased and calmly makes her own way into the bus and takes a nearby seat. It only makes sense given they'll be getting off at the same stop.

Spiff looks on with curiosity as a small alien enters the transport, then inconspicuously readies his blaster as the alien approaches.

The alien appears friendly and appears to be trying to make contact. Spiff pulls out his universal translator and ventures a question. "What were you in for?"

Susy rolls her eyes. "School, same as you."

Spiff checks the settings on his translator. Everything looks right, but it seems to be malfunctioning. Nevertheless, he persists. "Where do you suppose they're taking us?"

"Spruce & Main." She names the corner they get off at.
