a "guess who wrote this" game

There's a box on the counter of the Bar, and every so often the entries get pulled out and read. The label says "confessions", but plenty of the entries don't resemble that, or seem like they couldn't possibly be written by anyone who would write an anonymous confession for a game like this. Nevertheless, the patrons enjoy trying to guess which of their friends, if any, wrote each one.
 
(Milliways set-up provided for the provoking of ideas, you can ignore that if you want, guessing which glowficker wrote what probably on discord but if anyone wants an in-character Milliways guessing thread they can start one)

When I lived with the Mountain People and was a shepherd, before moving to leave more land for the people staying, I cried terrified in bed instead of running to help my brother protect the flock when he used his whistle to warn about a pack of wolves attacking the sheep! I felt awful, but I think it's great that so many people get to have people like him protecting them now.

There is a gentleman across the aisle, or across several, who has the most unfortunate stench; accentuated, one assumes, by his habit of arching back and forth with his armpits levered open
