They look and look and look and they're getting complaints about neglecting other things usually they would drop a case like this COME ON.

Do they want more money so they can investigate more than one case at a time.

They can investigate more than one case at a time they're just putting a lot of cop-hours into this one and this is annoying people who want the best detectives on their stuff instead of some burned red apartment building nobody wanted there anyway except some dead people and some crazy aliens!!! This is not the only case of violent crime they have to deal with!!!

The Elves really do understand but there'll be a lot of copycat arsonists if people think it's an easy way to get rid of their reds.

It isn't easy does this look easy to them?!

It seems like it might've been easy if no one had gotten upset about it. Maybe they can put up lots of cameras near all the other remaining red apartment buildings and then if they can't find an arsonist they can convince the Valar that at least no one thinks it could be gotten away with again.

...will the Elves pay for the cameras by any chance.

The Elves spent all their money bribing that yellow but they can try to get some more of it and then yeah sure.

Bribing that yellow was dumb.

It doesn't seem to have taught the locals the intended lesson, no.

They get more portals put up between cities.

These remain popular and pricey!

Cameras go up with much grumbling. On the bright side, they manage to arrest several more reds for verifiable camera-detected pollution violations and disturbances of the peace and pack them off to Elves.

"I am not sure how we should have handled the reds but possibly not this way."

"I think you should have just put them on their planet, I'm not sure why making people keep having them is so important," says Avalor, looking up from her book on approaches to the population crisis.

"It's not that making people keep having them is important it's that dragging people from their homes on threat of death is bad."

"Haven't the first batch made the place perfectly nice for them by now?"

"- it's not that it's a bad thing to do if you're sending them to a bad place it's that it's bad either way. If you were a Voan red and you liked being Voan and wanted to keep being Voan wouldn't you be sad to be dragged off to the red planet?"

"I told you I don't want to think about being a red."

"Okay fine if we were putting all the blues on their own planet for some reason."

"...it would matter what reason, though, if everyone wanted us to go away..."

"Then maybe it'd be right to go away but I think it'd still be wrong to drag someone who, who was old and had lived in the same house their whole life and couldn't leave it, or who had a yellow husband and would miss him so terribly -"

"If someone wanted to go with the reds you could let them."

"I will suggest to them that they announce that."

He does. Elves announce that.

Nobody admits to wanting that.

Why are Amentans so Amentan.

If somebody happened to go through this portal here they'd be on the red planet and would not be made to leave. This portal is at the Elf embassy and there are no cameras or observers or anything.

One person goes.
