Well, that's not exactly transformative but it's something. And they don't give the reds trouble?

No, she moves into her girlfriend's tent and is welcomed.

"Ewwwwwwwww."

Avalor rolls her eyes. "Well now they are on the one planet where they don't have to listen to anybody going ewwwwww at them, isn't that what you wanted?"

"Yeah I guess."

The reds form a little government sort of thing for themselves and designate some people to talk to Elves or Valar as needed. They build more things.

This seems reasonable. They can all be immortal now too if they want, do they want?

Will they be able to get another planet when this one is full?

Then yes that sounds nice to most of them can there be exceptions though?

Yes, that makes sense.

They identify exceptions.

And everyone else can stop aging at 20.

Pretty neat.

Should they be expecting to rely on Elf charity indefinitely for any deliveries they need from Amenta or should they be trying to work remotely for call centers or something.

It'd be good if they were eventually independent but Elves are not going to get tired of this project or anything, Valinor is much less nice when you know there's a weird planet next door with all these murder problems.

They begin tentative attempts to find remote work and get a pretty chilly reception.

They could maybe not mention being red?

It's going to come up when they can't go to the office not even once for an interview or to get their picture taken for an ID badge.

Oh. Does Avalor have any ideas.

"There's really no reason that they shouldn't do phone work except that it ought to be yellow, uncleanliness can't go over the phone. I think we recently needed more yellows for something anyway. People just don't like them. Maybe once they are all on the planet people will stop disliking them as much? I'm not sure."

"Not very fair of people."

"I'm not really sure what being fair to reds would look like." She asks her history teacher why they needed more yellows; it was because they invented computers.

"And computers are yellow? I think being fair to reds might be - treating them like you'd treat a friend who was sick with something contagious."

"But we aren't friends."

"Okay, how you'd treat a coworker who did good diligent work but who you didn't know well personally who was sick with something contagious."
