"Hi! How was school?"

"Unstimulating and aggravating." 

"Fine. How was your day?"

"It was good. I found a nice spot for Ellayania and finished with the library. I met Ms. Morrel outside," and she describes the interaction.

"Are you okay? We should take you to see Dr. Deaton, she might have done something that you didn't notice."

"So she is actually magic? I wasn't sure."

"I'm fairly sure no one was there when I started the domain, but she knew about it anyway. What's sort of thing might she have done?"

"She could be trying to get you alone again, only somewhere less private. Tracking, maybe, or something to try to exploit your connection to Ellayania."

"And Dr. Deaton would be able to tell if something like that were happening?"

"He is actually magic."

"He's a druid and he helps us out a lot."

"Okay. Let's go."

"Okay. Do you mind taking the bike? Isaac, you don't want to come, do you?"

"I guess. Someone has to do our homework, though it probably shouldn't be me."

"We'll work on it when I get back."

He leads her to the garage, where his bike is waiting.

He hands her a helmet, and demonstrates its use.

She dons it comfortably and shows only a calm anticipation regarding the ride.

Good for her!

They arrive outside the Beacon Hills Animal Clinic.

"Ready?"

"As I'll ever be, I suppose."

And just what is she going to do if she does have some sort of hostile magic hanging on her? Well, maybe Deaton will be able to reverse it. It depends on what exactly it is.

"Scott, what are you doing here? I'm sure you have better things to do thank keep an old man and some animals company. Who's this?"

"This is the woman I mentioned. Can we come in?"

"Of course."

He slides his foot across the doorway, his shoe disturbing a line of dust.

Scott steps in.

Pascale follows.

"Hello. I'm Pascale, if Scott didn't mention."

"He told me a few things. Describe the creature that attacked you?"
