That's fascinating! Was Seku aware that current research suggests that all telekinesis is in fact equally easy and any perceived difficulty is all based on how the Force user in question conceptualizes telekinesis?

Seku has approximately zero access to current research and was not aware of that!

Then Elvee will put his head on Seku's shoulder and tell him about current research.

...It's been a long time since anyone touched Seku with no expectation of sex afterwards.

It's... really nice.

"You are so warm," Elvee says. "And soft."

He isn't sure how he feels about being soft, but it's helping him right now.

"Thank you."

When the ship lands, Elvee says, "are you going to need help?"

Better that the Jedi can't tell anyone where Seku is even if he decided to.

"I can find a place on my own. I have a holonumber —" he lists it off — "and if you want to see me you can call me and tell me where to meet you?"

"That sounds good!"

Seku smiles at Elvee as he gets off the ship, and then immediately the smile fades into a stone-set face and the posture of someone who has somewhere to be and does not have time for this.

He doesn't quite blend into the crowd, but they're cosmopolitan here; he doesn't turn any heads.

And Marlo flies them the rest of the way back to the Jedi Temple.

"Thank you for rescuing me."

"Thank you for being so easily rescued."

"I try! Next time you're in the Hapes Cluster, look me up, we can get dinner."

"I will!" He doubts he'll be in the Hapes cluster any time soon, but there's no need to mention that.

He finds his immediate superior and informs her that the princess has been rescued and is waiting in the Temple atrium and that a Sith apprentice by the name of Ranna is now dead. He does not mention Seku, or the way the whole mission had been scripted before he was ever informed of it. (He's going to have a lot of examining to do tonight — but it feels incorrect on a level he wouldn't know how to verbalize if he tried to, to say anything, and so he doesn't.)

His immediate superior thanks him and dismisses him.

Elvee allocates some memory to Seku Ani and some memory to developing a lesson plan about Force philosophy, history, and metaphysics for an adult wild Jedi. After some thought, he concludes he should probably do his actual job, and also allocates some memory to keeping track of Asha.

What can he find about Seku?

Seku was enslaved to Minuial Vashtar, a Bespin senator, up until four years ago when Vashtar died under mysterious circumstances and his slave vanished.

Good job, Seku.

Elvee pulls from youngling training to get the basic information, but designs the lesson plans using his knowledge of the best techniques for adult learners. It's really fun.

What was the Senator like?

Unremarkable as a politician; he managed a few tax concessions but nothing really noteworthy. (Somewhere in a diplomat's personal note-to-self there's a note that he had a nasty temper.)

Elvee wants to protect Seku and keep him safe, which is really weird. He is not a security droid.

Marlo has, as expected, a lot of examining to do that night.

(He suspects that he won't be able to uproot his attachment to Elvee no matter what he does — Seku's face had looked strangely familiar, but he can't place where he knows him from; he doesn't know why the idea of reporting Seku's existence felt so wrong —)

He sleeps. All he remembers from his dreams are flashes of color, purple and silver and blue.

In the morning Elvee asks, "Do you want to go with me to go see Seku?"

The answer should be no.

"Yes," he says instead.

Elvee looks at his face and very cautiously hugs him.
