"Whenever you're ready. We can collect the cowardly lion and the scarecrow on our way out."

"I don't mind going there first thing in the morning, tin man. As long Dorothy gets his beauty sleep."

"I would never get between a man and his bed. Have a good night."

"Hey, don't diss being between a man and his bed. But good night."

"Sweet dreams."

He heads back.

And so does Felix, that conversation was soothing enough that he manages to get to bed and sleep.

The next day - not too early because he was up late - he and Sky will meet Deaton as planned?

Yup! They can meet up and head out without further ado.

Felix does have to go through the rigmarole of creating enough fog to avoid being seen in the distance and then donning that uncomfortable trench-coat.

Well, after that, they're ready to go.

Off to see the wizard they go.

Are they allowed in the Emerald city? Are they going to pick behind the curtain? Is that a horse of a different color?

Someone comes to the door, at least.

"Stiles and Felix, to what do I owe the pleasure?"

"I go by 'Sky', thanks to this one. I'm the extra Stilinski."

"We were curious about how the local magic works. If there are exploits my power can achieve. Ideally if there is anything to disguise my wings so I can, you know, walk on the street like a normal person."

"Powerful illusions and shapeshifting relies on sacrificial rituals. If you aren't, understandably, interested in killing multiple people, there isn't much that will cover wings. What can your magic do?"

"We were wondering if we could bypass the sacrifice part somehow, ideally with conjured dead bodies. My world has a kind of magic that is very versatile, but hard to learn. It does healing and various forms of disguising, but it is hard to learn."

"What makes it so difficult?"

Felix shrugs helplessly. "Little is public known about it, because the people who know all the secrets - the witch-queens - keep it to themselves and only share it with people that can be trusted, and squish anyone that isn't supposed to know."

"But you know more than you should? Or do you think we have an advantage there?"

"No, not yet, but I  was thinking of ways to exploit both system if we can do it ethically."

"Alright. Tell us what you know about your system."

Sky listens eagerly.

Felix explains witchcraft, as disclosed before he doesn't actually know how to use - but should be able to conjure the relevant information - but he knows the capabilities and limitations. The main limitation is that witchcraft requires a magical power source that can only be acquired from the ambient energy of a pocket dimension. And even then the witchcraft user needs to charge in a specially designed place and be mindful of how much energy they are spending.

Otherwise, witchcraft is pretty damn versatile, by Felix's account Witch-queens can basically do anything: healing, vast amounts of destructive energy, shielding, animating objects, illusions and many other things. Apparently the only way to defeat one is using long range guerrila tactics for a long time until the Witch-queen energies are too low for them to defend themselves.

"So to find out if it works here, we just need a pocket dimension?"

"Well, yes and do the other steps, but we can set those up too. Any reason to think that could wrong, Doctor?"
