Felix in Beacon Hills post season 3A

Felix wanders around the housing complex without any aim or purpose. As long... he isn't in an empty house, even a dark building full of strangers is better than that.

So he walks around, nearly everyone is asleep and those that are not have their doors closed.

Felix feels he shouldn't focus so much in his purposeless suffering, when every single so here has to face a world where they're copies of people. He feels bad for even comparing the two sufferings.

But he is so tired and sleep is not actually rest for his head.

He's not the only insomniac tonight.

This kid is wandering the complex, mostly kicking rocks, watching them scatter with some focus.

"Ah, hello, Sky?"

"Oh, hey, Felix. Are you okay?"

"Yes..." Felix says and is so insencere that he immediately amends, "no, can't sleep. How about you?"

"Looks like it's going around. I can't sleep either. How have you been doing?"

He shrugs helplessly. "After talking to you, I found out that I have the ability to understand and speak any language and have no idea why and interfered with the life of a werecoyote."

"Right, of course. Why would you do anything boring? Did you help them? The werecoyote?"

"...Mixed results. She turned back in human form and wasn't able to go back into coyote, so I'm helping her with food and other necessities until she learns to shift back."

"Do you think that's a good idea? Helping her shift back?"

"Can't say it is a lifestyle choice I would pick, but it isn't one I can oppose enough to outright tell her 'no, stay human'. Why?"

"How long has she been a coyote? Is there a way to find out where she came from?"

"Not sure how long, but her name is Malia and she looks around our age."

"Before you send her back, see if she remembers her past. She must have been human, once. She's a shapeshifter."

Felix nods and smiles. "Good idea. I think... I'm not sure if friendly is the right word, but she might be inclined to answer if I ask."

"Of course she will. I'd definitely give you a ten out of ten in rescuing."

Felix snorts. "I try!"

Then he takes a step forward and stops.

"Uh... can I hug you?"

"If you want. Yeah."

Felix does, the winged hugs remain warm and soft. Felix melts a bit into it.

"I'm sorry you're stuck with us. I wish you could be back home, or wherever it is you actually want to be."

Felix quietly nods, still hugging.

"Would it help to have someone to talk to?"

"Yes, please. I just... I am so lonely."

Oh is it time for more hug?

Looks like it.

Time for more hug: courtesy of how messed up this world is and a even bigger heap over the crushing existential fact that even the stars in the sky aren't the ones he is used to.

"I'm here to help, okay? Whatever you need."
