"So, what should we do now?"

"Let's just go swimming. It'll be nice to go swimming somewhere shallow and not in the middle of the ocean."

The twins approve of this!

Do they approve of swimming clothes? Rilah insistently furnishes them all with one-piece swimsuit type things.

They find them really weird, but Rilah has been such a gracious host.

Swimming (and related activities) is fun! Nemo makes sand castles on the very edge of the water, where waves occasionally reach, and tries to build them up faster than they go down.

Is there anything for Tabby to jump off?

There's a pier leading off a rock.

"Cannonball!" 

Gren follows. "Caaaanonbaaaal!"

Zeke meanwhile has decided to try instructing Nemo on the subtle art of sandcastles.

"Now the support structures are very important..."

"I very well know to draw water away from it and shore up with a nice slope thank you."

"We lived by a beach when we were small. I have loads of practise."

"I declare a competition!"

"You're on!"

"Tabby! Gren! You two want to round up some judges for us?"

"Sure, could be fun."

Tabby bounds off into the distance to search for judges.

Gren goes and asks her mom.

Most of the other children and teens on the island are willing to judge sandcastles, and a couple of parents.

"Good turn out. Shall we begin?"

"Yeah. Time limit thirty minutes?"

"Agreed!" 

Zeke's castle is very spindly and delicate looking. 

Nemo's is themed after their adventure so far. This corner reminiscent of Windfall, this one of Dragon Roost, this one of Forest Haven, that one of Outset, and designed rather robustly. It's not very big, with all this design effort and the attention to detail being more difficult, but still.

Zeke is honestly rather impressed.

The judges are pretty impressed too! By both of them!

"Zeke's seems like it shouldn't be staying up, it's neat. But Nemo's is such a cool idea..."

The islanders' vote comes down to 10 Nemo, 7 Zeke.
