"Wait a moment! That summoning is finished, but there may be other effects hidden beneath it!"

Detect Magic. Is there anything new in the room? Has the circle's aura finished? (She tries to avoid the book with the Detect cone. She knows what it's supposed to look like, at least, and its aura is strong enough that it might wash out other important things.)

The conjuration aura has vanished. The worm held a sword that emanates a moderate transmutation aura.

"Its sword is magic, but I see no evident risk. Proceed."

While Tomas is preparing, she will examine that sword. Can she figure out what it does? Moderate transmutation is enough magic to be interesting, while not being as blinding as the book was.

She is unable to identify the properties of the sword.

Tomas finishes preparing ant haul and casts it on Yanor.

Yanor lifts Julen's body. He doesn't seem nearly as encumbered by this as one would expect.

"I cannot tell precisely what the sword does. I will leave that to you, Tomas. Yanor, remember to make use of the belt, it should help."

They know the way back, and they have no plans on getting into any fights. Hopefully this will be easy? Tomas leads, as the one who can spot traps best. Something might have reset behind them. It at least seems more of a risk than sudden extra defenses.

Tomas identifies the sword as a keen longsword. He leads the party back through the winding rooms to the beach.

Yanor sets Julen's body down on the magic raft.

She unfolds the Anytool into a cart-sled thing, and they carry some of the gold along as well. Can they get all of it on the raft? (Or at least all of what they got out of the construct's internals and explosion. The plating was also gilded, but that would take more time to remove from the other metals.)

The raft can hold all of the gold bars. It's very sturdy.

She loads it up with those, and a few of the alchemical substances she doesn't want to carry herself. Off they go.

Yanor commands the raft up the river. They pass by the heptagon platform with the glass statue and round a long corner before docking at the beach next to the magical stone posts.

He carries Julen off the raft and onto the beach.

And everything goes back onto the Anytool cart to roll and slide back to the entrance shaft.

The shaft is as they left it. Magical darkness and silence blanket the area.

"I'm going to prepare fly. I don't know if the rope can hold all of this as we climb up."

"You should be the target, we would be able to support less load. I shall take the Anytool and Tomas and I can ascend the rope, while you carry the other items."

Anytool folded back up to a rope ascender, and she slowly and carefully makes her way up.

Yanor hands her a page emblazoned with runes. "The guardian statutes up top will attack you without this." He relays a command word to her as well.

Runes! Command word! Up!

Tomas follows close behind her.

The darkness and silence are as unsettling as they were earlier. The statues turn to face them as they emerge from the shaft.

She holds up the page of runes and speaks the command words.

The guardian statues calm and turn away.

Tomas can take the various valuable objects, and unfold the Anytool. She stays back to pass the paper to Yanor once he floats out of the shaft. He'll need to prepare his spells, so it will take a while. That isn't a problem. She can wait.

A little over fifteen minutes later, Yanor floats out of the shaft carrying Julen's body. He sets it down on the floor. "I'm going back down for the gold."
