The Helsburg Adventurer's Guild is built like a major bank lobby crossed with a government office, with two levels of balconies visible, marble floors, and signs everywhere. There's a bar on one side next to the bounty boards, a big table listing wholesale purchase prices for common loot, and a giant sign declaring 'TICKET REQUIRED FOR DUNGEON ENTRY - SIGN UP HERE'

"Do we want to do some more dungeon runs, or look for interesting jobs on the boards? I'd think a big city would have variety."

"I'd like to practice in the dungeon but other work is fine by me. You know I keep wanting to sell my talents."

"If it's just practice we could also spar with someone... Oh, right! I bet there's someone who would, like, handle all the logistics to line up stuff to repair and pay you for each one, if only we can find them."

"Both those things sound like good ideas."

"I don't have any ideas about the second thing other than asking people and seeing who jumps on it and just assume they won't be taking an unreasonably big cut."

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's ask around."

It doesn't take very many people asked before one of them smushes their empty mug into glass splinters with their bare hands and holds the remains out to her with eyebrow raised and a smirk on her face.

She gathers up all the fragments carefully, and flares her magic.

The glass shifts in her hands. Over about thirty seconds, the mug reconstitutes itself.

"It's easier if it's not quite that broken."

"Neat Skill," the scarred woman drawls. "I maybe know some people who could use it. Only works on non-magic things, though? What's the definition of 'magic' exactly? I'm assuming a Bright's staff or anything that dense is a no-go, but, say, stonework that's had Reinforcement done? Old furniture that's absorbed the Winds but not in a directed sort of way? The physical form only of a shabby old bag of holding?"
