"A little, some fruit and cereal. I'll try to have more for lunch. You?"

"I'm hanging in there. My boss says I'll still have a job waiting for me when I get out so that's nice."

Vivian gives a weak smile. "Gotta love that confidence you have there. I didn't even think to call the office."

"Like I said last night, there's a power to hope. Not everything goes my way but I've found that planning for good outcomes helps make them feel more real."

"I'll have to think about that." Vivian looks off in thought for a few seconds. "As the woman with a plan do you have next steps I could help with?"

"For now, I'm mostly in the information gathering phase. If you want to spend some time going over the map to see if there's anything weird that would be useful. I'm also planning to try to track down some of the beta players and I wouldn't mind having company for that. I also want to explore a bit and look around for secrets. And I probably won't do it today, but I want to go out to the wilds and see what fighting is actually like in this game even if the enemies here won't be the same as the ones through the gate."

"I can do that yeah! The maps I mean. I wouldn't mind going to meet some people either. I'm not sure how helpful I'll be looking for secrets and I don't really want to get into fighting just yet."

"That's fine, I'm just trying to make the most of the time where we can talk to people outside. There's a lot of resources on the internet and it doesn't look like we have anything quite like it inside, or if there is I haven't found it yet."
