"Robin! Nice to meet you. I'm just visiting from up the sound; Vancouver, I mean. Not really a dungeon esper, that's more my buddy back here," he jabs a thumb behind himself. 

Maybe if Caine doesn't move or make a sound she'll assume Robin is just insane. Or backlashing. 

No, she's going to think he's shy. (That's okay! Lots of people are shy. Her partner is so shy she's not even here!)

"Neat! Well, welcome to Seattle's funniest-shaped building regularly open to the public. Wanna test compatibility?" She holds up a hand, fingers spread outward and slightly forward.

"It's pretty weird," he agrees, reaching out to touch her fingers with his own. 

(Compatibility tier: This is nothing.)

"Huh," she says, pulling her hand back. "Kinda nothing. So it goes!" 

"Yyyep." 

He takes his hand back as he twists to peer over his shoulder. 

"Hey, you gonna give her a shot?" 

Caine will turn himself out from behind Robin's back with a sigh, and offer the girl a limp hand. 

Ah, shy espers. It seems like a rough life. Reve will carefully touch his hand, moving slowly.

Woah.

He now looks pretty annoyed for a guy experiencing guiding this good. 

"Oh my god, dude, are you compatible?!" 

Huh! He... doesn't look very happy, so Reve withdraws her hand for now.

"Pretty compatible on my end! Can't speak for your friend?"

He looks away. 

"It's fine."

"Hey, don't mind him, he's just mad the plan worked out. We've been going to mixers over a year and he hadn't clicked with anyone 'til now." 

...Reve does not really know how to navigate this social situation, actually, where one person is speaking for the other like this. It's kinda uncomfortable!

She'll fish out a business card and offer it to them. "If you want some more guiding, feel free to come find me now or later, but I can get out of your hair for now, if you'd like!"

Caine reaches out to accept the card. Their fingers brush- and she can feel his backlash. She can't tell exactly how much it is, but it sure doesn't seem to be slowing down for the moments they're touching. 

His lips thin to hide a grimace.

"Right. Thanks." 

Robin tugs a pack of cards out of his pocket and hands her one of the black and white ones (the others are a dark green). 

"Nice meeting you! And, hey," he points down at a group of tacos, "These ones are pretty good, too, and they're labelled vegan, so you can have them, right?"

Thaaat is a fair bit of backlash to be Just Sitting On but he's an adult and can make his own bad decisions. (Reve gives him a concerned look, but doesn't say anything.)

She'll take Robin's card with a smile. "Thanks! I'll tell my agen-" (she makes a series of gestures with her hand and murmurs "remind me to tell Sarah about Robin and friend, high compat") "-my agent that we're compatible and to forward communications appropriately."

And yeah, she'll try a taco. "Pretty good! The sliders are also yummy, if you want to try 'em."

Caine nods, apparently focusing wholly on his tacos again and edging back behind Robin. 

"I'm working up to it! Still got a few left to try." 

He waves, and gets back to that, allowing his friend to hide behind his back again as he does so.

Cool! Reve waves too, and then heads off to say hi to the purple girl.
