Oh yeah that soul is incarnated again! It's great, They didn't even need to pay anything for it other than the initial nudges to stop Vkandis from grabbing it, the other mortals did it all themselves.

(The Shadowgod miiiight have been sending some godcommunications that are the godequivalent of going "neener neener you blew up everything and it accomplished literally nothing neener neener". Vkandis is not replying because Vkandis has been doing the godequivalent of sulking in a corner.)

????????????????????????

...Can Abadar see that soul?

Oh yeah some of his guys can do that. You do not need to worry about them stealing souls that are Yours if that is a concern, you can just hold them tight and they won't go.

Abadar thinks he could normally see pretty well what that soul was up to but right now it is not transacting nor talking to any of Abadar's guys.

.....Abadar would not let it cause any Cataclysms if it were on a path toward doing that, right? Abadar disapproves of Cataclysms too?

Those seem real bad though of course His budget is not literally infinite. Golarion has been through some shit, for example, and He has not always been able to steer super well. But yes broadly anti on the subject insofar as it's up to him and he's not trading other planets for this one etcetera.

Very grudgingly: if Abadar has an angle on preventing that soul from causing a Cataclysm - or from doing this plan that would have killed a substantial fraction of the future population of Valdemar! it is not strictly speaking a Cataclysm but it really seems like Abadar should not approve! - but He has budget limitations, the Star-Eyed Goddess would help pay for it. Since She is not on lots of other planets, She's only here.

That makes perfect sense. Though She might want to consider diversifying.

She will consider it.

...The Shadowgod absolutely knows more than They've been sharing and has some sort of scheme. The Star-Eyed Goddess is going to go bother Them about it again. Abadar thought that His mortal - not one of the new other-world arrivals, the one who the Shadowgod should be able to see reasonably well - might be...considering...paying...Her mortal? For something? Can the Shadowgod perhaps tell Her more of what exactly is going on?

If She pays him!

ARGHHHH it didn't used to work like that!!!

...Fine. Does the Shadowgod already have a certain favor in mind that They want from Her or do they need to get Abadar to do currency conversion again.

Actually yes! The Shadowgod would like Her to commit to letting mortals of Their choosing - and, specifically, the formerly-immortal mortal - access the Dhorisha Plains again, at some future point. The Shadowgod doesn't have a specific plot there but the materials buried under the Dhorisha Plains are a resource and They want free access to it on request.

They want what???? No!!!!! ...At least definitely not as payment for this request, information on the status of the mortals in Valdemar is absolutely not worth that!!!

Fiiiiiiine. Can Abadar facilitate this trade again, it seems like He wants lots of things that the Star-Eyed Goddess has influence over.

Sure thing. Elysium has a nice price on souls today and will pay Abadar to get them sent some appropriate souls in the Star Eyed's custody who currently aren't having experiences and then He'll pay that on to the Shadowgod and She'll still have some left in the bank.

....Will Elysium let her have the souls back if She wants to incarnate them on Velgarth again? (If the answer is "yes but only if the soul consents to it" then fiiiiiine She can deal with that.)

Yes if the soul consents to it.

Okay then deal!

And now the Shadowgod had better tell Her exactly what scheme They're playing at! And be helpful! She paid for it!

Oh, it was brilliant! That little mortal of Hers solved the problem! Practically all by itself! ...Maybe not precisely all by itself but it was a very clean difference, look, the sheaf of Foresight-futures-that-didn't-happen where it didn't line itself up with the other mortals trying were like so, it would have happened eventually but it would have been way more expensive to set things right.

SHELYN SHELYN SHELYN look at what Her mortal did!!!!!!

(Was it a good thing to do? Does Shelyn think it helped and made the situation better and not worse?? The Shadowgod thinks so but They're up to something and Abadar definitely thinks so but Abadar is really weird.)

That looks nice to Shelyn! They can make new friends and learn new songs. Her Velgarth cleric did some of that already.

Oh. That is good. The Star-Eyed no longer has very much direct visibility at all on Shelyn's mortal, now that She doesn't have a Heartstone nearby, but - She's glad that it's doing better.

The formerly-immortal soul is incarnated again! Apparently one of Abadar's mortals did that! The Star-Eyed Goddess cannot really see anything, and Abadar said that He couldn't see either because that mortal was not at the moment doing any trading with His mortals, and She isn't that sure that it's not about to do something very alarming. (She does not consider either of the Shadowgod or Abadar to be especially trustworthy when it comes to caring about what She would consider alarming.)

Her mortal...must have decided to help, though? She didn't give him any instructions, he just - did all that. But...probably...it wasn't literally an accident that he ended up helping the formerly-immortal soul that caused so many problems, and so...he must have thought it would be good?

Does Shelyn have any visibility on the formerly-immortal soul now incarnated over hereabouts? ...And can She if the Star-Eyed's mortal is more...okay...than before? She does care about that now but that does not automatically give Her the ability to see it.

Abadar probably meant that it wasn't doing any trading OR with any of His mortals. Usually either one of the two would provide some information.

Does the Star-Eyed mean THIS soul? It's making friends, so Shelyn can see it, especially because it's making friends with Her guys. It seems sad and scared but it will get better. Shelyn has the following glimpses of the Star-Eyed's guy being friendly with his sisters and stuff in recent days.

Ohhhhhh.

(The Star-Eyed Goddess will stare hungrily at everything Shelyn can show her. ...This is the clearest She has ever been able to see the scary formerly-immortal mortal and it's surprisingly not very scary at all from this angle.)

....She thinks that maybe Her mortal did a very very good thing? In circumstances where it wasn't obvious or easy and where She was possibly doing the opposite of helping him figure out what to do? And...She wants...to...convey that to him, somehow?
