Navarro returns. "We're going to send a larger investigation force to investigate. I expect it will leave in around thirty minutes." He turns to Tencednil and Shadi. "You two are welcome to come along. If we're lucky there won't be any hostiles."

It would be strange for her to accompany them on a small investigation into the cult but not a larger force. Minimal risk, especially in a group, if the cult really is cleared.

"I'll definitely come along. If there's something making the sewers restless, that's important whether or not it's a cult!" Not that investigating the cult will tell them anything, but she doesn't have a reason to know that.

Shadi will be coming along as well.

Navarro leads them up up multiple flights of stairs to the larger planning space. It's the same one the Guard has used before when dealing with the cult of Urgathoa.

The room is full of guardsmen and assistants. The ambient discussion is quite loud.

Dozens of minutes go by. The Guard doesn't seem to be calling in as many elite forces as they have before. Probably because the cultists are, as far as they can tell, already dead.

That does make sense. Morgethai probably did take everything of value there, so it wouldn't even be worth the expense.

If there was any risk, she might try to redirect the planning session, but as it is she expects not even any potential problems. No need to push in any particular direction, then. She will just comment as she is asked and otherwise appear mostly like she's struggling with the logistics of such a large group.

The guardsmen are ready soon enough. They gleam in their chainmail, equipped with halberds and swords and crossbows. They're split into two formations, just like last time, but hopefully this will merely be an overabundance of caution. They march down through the Citadel to the outdoor staging area. They get their blessing of the watch and begin the long march up to Old Korvosa.

There's no reason for her to push to be in the sewers formation this time. Does she get to see what the top side of the warehouse looks like? She has no memories of ever going in that way.

She does get to see the top side of the warehouse. The upper formation is happy to have her.

The doors of the warehouse are unlocked. On the other side there are wooden planks scattered across the floor.

Does a Detect Magic show anything? She's theoretically here for a reason, and if being the cheapest source of Detect Magic available to the guard is boring, well, it's also something she can do very easily.

There's a faint abjuration aura over the entrance of the warehouse. She doesn't recognize the spell.

"There's an abjuration of some sort, but not too strong. It looks like an area, so... probably an alarm or a magic circle of some sort? I think? It might be something rarer."

The guard's wizard walks forward. "It's almost certainly alarm. There's not many faint abjurations with a long duration."

No alarms sound as he passes through the area.

"Mental alarm. I expect whoever would hear it is busy being dead."

Nod. She... will not give any instructions because the guards are in charge here. Right. And everyone should be dead, so there's no reason to push for one plan or another.

The guards search the building. "Found something!" one yells. "There's a cargo elevator here, with winches and everything!"

Navarro looks inside. "It's not trapped as far as I can tell."

A guard captain points to two guards. "You two, detective, wizard, sorcerer, with me. We're going down."

She follows him! He probably knows what he's doing.

The captain pulls the lever on the wall. The elevator moves downward at shocking speed.

The elevator stops at its destination. Ahead of them are a pair of solid wooden doors with Urgathoa's holy symbol painted across them.

Navarro puts his hand out. "They're trapped. I can see it."

What does her Detect Magic show her about the doors?
