It's some kind of kinetic energy manipulation. I've seen her use it to go very fast a couple times and to just stop dungeon shit that was trying to attack her on her way to her target.

You know, you have a good point.  A gun won't one-shot a boss monster.  If only we had the technology to make guns...I know this is crazy you gotta trust me here bro...but what if we could make guns that could shoot twice?  Or maybe more than that???  Maybe a gun that has a WHOLE BUNCH of shots so that if you MISS your ONE SHOT you're not completely fucked.  Or so that if there was a REALLY tough monster, like, I don't know, a BOSS MONSTER, you could shoot it more than fucking ONCE.  Or if there are TWO MONSTERS, you could shoot each of them ONCE instead of killing one and going back home to do it sloppy-style with your partner.

I know there are a bunch of espers that use guns, that one Traceless dude looks like a fucking commando half the time he goes into a dungeon.

Ok look, idiot, most boss monsters are basically immune to small arms fire and you can't drive a fucking tank into a dungeon! Heavy hitters are extremely useful! There's a reason SWAT teams don't just clear every dungeon! Sure, espers without offensive powers get firearms training - hell, I have a pistol for small monsters I don't want to burn backlash on, but there's a lot you can't do with guns!

Fuck off with this shit, you're not a mod. People speculate about backlash all the time, I've had it happen to me. It's annoying, but it's not the end of world. It's just part of the job. And speculating about someone in a thread they'll never see is better than them getting a bunch of spam emails asking about compatibility testing, which if you read my post is why I'm bothering.
