Hug. 

Slightly stiff and uncomfortable hug.

Hug all the same. 

A hug all the same does improve a lot, Felix actually relaxes into it and Sky is enveloped by Felix's wings and it is like being hugged by a soft and warm feathery blanket.

Abort, abort, enjoying hug too much. 

He unhugs. 

"Hey, are you guys done playing symbolic chess?"

"Yeah, we are. Nice seeing you again, Felix." 

"You're welcome, Sky." Then to the other two. "how are you two holding up?"

"We're okay. How did it go with Sky?"

"Suprisingly well, actually. He... said that the sheriff and Ms. McCall can talk to him."

"Oh. Okay, that's good. That is good, right?" 

"It indeed is. I hope talking with the Sheriff won't be awkward."

"My dad won't be a problem. He might be."

"Stiles, he's you!"

Sky quietly walks away.

Sigh. "I wasn't going to ask Sky this - not that I want to undermine Stiles' feelings - but why you two behave around each other like that?"

"Like what?"

"Like you two are someone that you wouldn't want to be around with."

"I don't want to be around him, he doesn't want to be around me."

"Identical reactions are expected. The actual issue is that you distrust each other. And in a way that implies something more than fear the other will take or get something you both want."

"If he's anything like me but we have different goals, then I can't trust him."

"Why not? That is not a bad reason, but I want to understand why."

"Yeah, you kind of ask a lot of questions. Scott?" 

"Um. He means that Sky has the same personality but a totally different history, so they're putting the same thoughts and strategies to get different priorities." 

"Getting information is important to optimize for your goals," Felix tells Stiles neutrally, "and thank you for explaining, Scott. Does having the same thoughts and strategies mean you two can predict and counter each other?" Felix shakes his head. "This is too much even for me."

"I'm pretty sure versions of me don't get along." 

"Which is unfortunate, given the situation."
