In a moment Felix was simply enjoying flying through the many portals of the Shattered Skies. Then a flash of bright light and then he isn't in the Shattered Skies anymore.
Instead he is above a town, no portal in view. He checks his cellphone and... no signal, this is likely a kind of pocket dimension.
Feeling confused and lost, Felix flies down, searching for people or a place where he can use a phone.
"A building collapsed because of a car accident, many were injuried and later many got sick. We couldn't take them to a hospital. They are human but a new type of magic person with reptilian features including scaly skin. So it would jeopardize the dreamshaping secret. So I had to create a doctor for them."
Until they arrive. The dream dimension immigrants seem to be settling in nicely, despite being generally confused about everything.
He's in one of the common rooms, playing chess. He stares at them when they come in, but doesn't address them, and gets back to his game.
Felix glances at Sky's partner, then back at Sky. "Are you more invested in this game than going through the process of talking with Stiles?"
"I'm not interested in talking to him. You, I'll talk to."
It looks like he's losing.
"Why you don't want to talk to him? And any particular thing you want to talk to me?"
"You can talk about whatever you want; if they have something to say, you're going to say it."
Of course things can't be simple in this world.
"Excuse me," Felix addresses Sky's partner, "this is likely to turn out to be a private and emotional conversation and I would hate to see you being caught in the blast radius. Do you mind if I take your place?" Then to Scott and Stiles. "Is there anything you would like to say to him?"
"No problem, I was going to win anyway."
Sky's partner gets up and leaves.
Felix sits and moves a piece absently.
"How are the accommodations here? Anything you need?"
Felix thinks the best way to answer this, it looks like he is thinking about his best move.
"They are doing their best to help me."
Felix looks at Sky for a long moment.
"I have decided to pretend that I am my brother and shut down my emotions so I could properly deal with it."
